Interview canceled
#Last April 11 was my interview, but they couldn't interview me because my wife gave birth to my baby that same day, but yesterday I received the notification of my interview cancellation, I don't know how long it would take them to reschedule an interview, does anyone have any idea?

My I-765 was approved on April 1st. They sent me a notification that they had already sent my card, which was produced on May 9th, but my account shows the USPS tracking number as "unavailable." So I contacted Emma, the virtual chat, and they asked me to provide my tracking number. I was able to check its status with the USPS, and it's still in the office! Now I contacted the USPS to request a report, and they told me they couldn't do anything about it yet. But my card hasn't moved since they sent it. I understand that when they send your card, they send it via Priority Mail, and it normally takes 2 to 3 days. I'm a little desperate because the first time my lawyer sent my package to USCIS, it took almost a month to move until I contacted them and they canceled it, and we had to send it again. (That was a whole month of my process lost.)
Has anyone experienced the same thing with the delays? Or do you know what to do in this case?

What does this mean please
The case is processing with the national
benefits center. The case was last
reviewed by the office on 05/14/2025
The office is not requesting anything
from you at this time. The interview
waiver determination has not yet been
made, nor has an interview been
scheduled. The next step for the case is
to be transferred to a field office. We
don't an have estimated wait time for
when the transfer will be completed.
got my green card
hi folks. finally I got it and wish you the same. we had interview in West Palm, Fl. they didn’t ask us weird or tricky questions. but also we had so much evidence that it was difficult to find anything suspicious. we were married for 3 years and were just living in another country with our child. so our application was strong enough to be afraid of anything or to be nervous. wish you all the best.

Nugget of the day!
I’ve seen some people ask about the delays and such after an interview . so here is a nugget
USCIS will not approve an I-485 (Adjustment of Status) application until your background checks are fully cleared. These checks include:
• FBI name check
• FBI fingerprint check (biometrics)
• Inter-agency criminal and national security checks (e.g., with DHS, DEA, CIA, etc.)
Even if everything else in your application is perfect (interview done, documents correct, etc.), USCIS cannot move forward with an approval until those security checks are complete. In rare cases, delays in these checks can hold up a decision for months or longer.

My 11 year old daughter went for her immigrant interview in my country few days ago with the accompanying of my cousin because the mother was not available due to work, I planned to travelled down to take her myself but my own citizenship interview falls within same time, meanwhile my wife that we have been married for about 6 years now and we have a child together and just bought our first house last month with $632k filed for her. The interviewer ask my daughter if when ever I visit my country if I do stay with her mum she answered yes, which was not true, the officer also ask her if I do enter her mother’s room she answer yes, which is not also true. the officer further bring out our family picture that me, my wife, my son and my daughter took when we all visited my country last December and left in January and asked her who my wife was she answered that is her step mother. the officer further ask her if we all stayed in same house with her mother during our visit she answered yes which is not true also. Meanwhile my daughter is a little special but she is getting better as she grow older but not fully as it should be. She was then handed 221g paper, then the next day we got an email that her case was been refused and that the case has been returned to USCIS with a recommendation that the petition be revoked. they said USCIS will contact us and provide with opportunity to respond, and that the case is considered close at the embassy in my country and that we can contact USCIS for further information.
Please has anyone been in this situation, my marriage is real, my wife and I and child have visited my country and we are also planing to visit again coming December. please how should I respond to USCIS when they finally contact us or should be contact them before they do? how do we proof that I do not stay with the mother or me and my wife never stayed with the mother during our visit.
please any suggestions would be appreciated.
