Finally some hope.
It’s been a long 8 months waiting for my work permit! Yesterday finally the case was closed and card was produced. Hopefully I hear some more good news with my AOS soon!
I know is a small step but it’s so meaningful.

stuck at a cross roads
Hey Vawa family,
My lawyer filed my i360 last year May….. he said he wants to wait til that is approved before applying the 485 and EAD. I am a little worried that this will make the time longer for me to get my green card.
also note that I received my EAD from filing through marriage, it expires next April. Not sure what to do. should I get another lawyer or should I wait? I just don’t want the wait time to be longer than it has to be.

EB1C I-485: No update in the last 12 months. PD is Jan 2020
Wanted to check if someone had a similar experience/timeline.
I filed EB1C (both I140 and I485 concurrently) in May 2022. I retained EB2 PD of Jan 2020. Biometrics were done in July 2022. Received EAD and AP in September 2022. I140 was approved in Jan 2023 and no update after that. No communication about application moving to NBC like other candidates.
