you shouldn’t wait cause ead processing period is almost a year and half…go ahead and fill both now that’s what I was told 2 years ago and now I’m still without ead…until I filled last October and still waiting.

if you filing your i485,i131,i765 concurrently with medical apply know for your vawa it takes 33 to 36 months for processing . when your vawa approve at the same time I 485 aprrove

and for your ead comb card(. ( I 765 & I 131 ) will takes from know 6 to 9 months

your lawyer does not know the struggle of not having a work permit. if he did file C31 work permit which comes once your vawa is approved. it might take a long time to get. c09 EAD is way faster but you only get it when you file concurrently. so honestly it’s your decision. otherwise he have to give you a good reason why he is waiting for vawa approval to get first. do you think you have a good vawa case ? cause the only thing I can think of , is him being concerned about the vaaa case. good luck

@God Bless my ex is LPR too and I filled concurrently. who said you can’t file concurrently if your spouse is LPR? I already got my first prima Facie barely 3months after filing i360

1.if you are married to LPR(GC holder) you have to wait until your VAWA approved to file for I 485, you will get EAD from VAWA after your vawa is approved. Hope this helps and clarify your doubts. 2. married to citizen then you can file I 486 together, while applied together you can get EAD with out the approval of VAWA

you can file for EAD while you wait for i360 approval, with your previous marriage filed i485 you can file for ead

if you have a pending i-485 in marriage then you don't need to file again the I-485 because you can used that after the approval of your I-360..just Inform the uscis that you have a pending i-485 and they will freeze those until your vawa is approved. You can get an EAD when your i-360 will be approved will you just have to wait for the approval or if you want you can file a renewal i-765 let's see if who's the two will be the first to be approved..🙏🙏🙏

@Siva billa the information you provided is incorrect! I’m married to LPR and filed VAWA concurrently cos a visa was available at the time allowing LPR spouses to do so. you have to check on the visa bulletin to see if it is still marked as Current
