I-485 Case is being Actively Reviewed July 26,2023
do anyone know what is the next step after case is Actively Reviews. my Pd was June 8,2022. Field Office: Dallas .
Biometrics already done in june ,2022. Got RFE for tax documents and submitted Rfe response on Feb 16,2023 and after that May 15, 2023 case status updated to evidence received and combo card was produced following week I-765 and I-131. Last month i submitted service ticket as it has been more than 90 days for my Rfe submitted and I called them today to inquire about my case status . They said it is 26 days still for your ticket submitted and we response by usually 30 days. But after some time i got notification case is actively reviewed.
Update: I-130- i see My progress tab now and message is displaying . Uscis is reviewing your case.

when will case approved appear
today I saw i-130 approval notice on document tab of uscis portal, but has not updated on lawfully or uscis case status. when will it up date? how long has it been taking cases to receive welcome letter from nvc?

Our experience so far... (and biometrics completed but not showing???).
We filed all these cases at the same time as advised by our lawyer. Surprisingly, my wife's Status Adjustment started to be "actively reviewed" within a week and biometrics were scheduled and taken just a couple of weeks after. We thought this was going super fast but we've been waiting for an interview since then. Is this expected? (Biometrics are not shown as completed in the Lawfully app but appear as "scheduled" in the USCIS site even though they have been already taken).
On the other hand, her work permit arrived in less than 6 months, which I understand is unusually fast. Victory there I guess 😂. According to our lawyer it is a waiting game now, hoping to get a date for the interview in the next 1-3 months according to this app's statistics.

My friend is undocumented (edited)
Hi guys,
My friend "A" is an illegal immigrant (undocumented) and has a girlfriend "B" who is in the US with her student visa (F1 - expired but has valid i-20s). "B" was offered a green card sponsorship through her workplace, so they are trying to get married because they heard from somewhere that "A" can also concurrently file as a spouse for a green card.
Is that true? I really don't think it's a good idea for them to get married if this isn't valid information. All this time, I thought only marrying a US citizen can save his status. I don't want any of their statuses to be ruined.
Please advice!

I’m totally confused bruh, I was chatting with this live agent and asking for the progress of my case. I know they wouldn’t tell me anything about my I130 because I am the beneficiary, so i asked about my I485 and the agent said,
“your interview is waived on your behalf the next step is the approval of this application your just waiting on those actions to take place. this case is processing with the national benefits center at this time as well but the national benefits center works with the field offices at this time your is being reviewed by an officer from the baltimore field office.
My husband and I were so happy and he decided to chat with a live agent too. the love agent said there was no notifications on the case and it’s still pending and the next time to submit any inquiries is July 2027. I’m confused, what’s going on ?

update on case transfer
yesterday I chatted with live agent through Emma and she told me my case was transfer to Newark, a non local FO. she didn’t say anything else about when it was transferred or why . my pd is current row. I chatted again this morning and another agent told me my case is still with NBC- she also said sometimes they transfer to “non local fo for a certain review but that is INTERNAL “. she wouldn’t tell me if it was ever reviewed. so there it is- very helpful…. #transfer #non-localFO #pdcurrentrow #processingtimes
After 14 months, finally got APPROVED.
I usually don’t like to share things on social media or internet. But I understand those that are still waiting for approval that applied around when I applied. I’m hoping this would motivate you to feel less anxious about it. When I first applied, I thought it would take half a year at most because I saw many posts about it. My friend got hers within half a year as well. After half a year, I got anxious and thinking maybe my case takes little longer, should be a year at most. A year past by, May of 2023 was the most hopeless time because my case hadn’t changed a bit. I love to plan my future, my career, my finance, and things to do with my husband. Thinking of I might have to discard those plan made me extremely sad and hopeless. While seeing many many approvals from those that applied just this year.
But don’t give up! It will come to you literally out of nowhere. It’d be the best feeling in the world.
