confused
I’m totally confused bruh, I was chatting with this live agent and asking for the progress of my case. I know they wouldn’t tell me anything about my I130 because I am the beneficiary, so i asked about my I485 and the agent said,
“your interview is waived on your behalf the next step is the approval of this application your just waiting on those actions to take place. this case is processing with the national benefits center at this time as well but the national benefits center works with the field offices at this time your is being reviewed by an officer from the baltimore field office.
My husband and I were so happy and he decided to chat with a live agent too. the love agent said there was no notifications on the case and it’s still pending and the next time to submit any inquiries is July 2027. I’m confused, what’s going on ?
Anyone with this issue?

So how it works is the NBC recommended to the field office that your interview should be waived but it’s still up to the field office to decide if they will waive it.
Just be patient, it means your case in on a desk of a agent waiting to be reviewed, you should hear something soon.

@ty th I talked to several live agents and they have given me conflicted information regarding where my case was. After, I talked them and got a few same answers and figure out what’s going on.
For me, I got a medical RFE for I-485 from the office that live agents told me, so that was confirmation for me.
Now, I am waiting for the update on my case status that “Response to RFE Received” from the field office. Hopefully, I will see the update soon.

you will get approval soon, trust me. no news is good news, just waiting . I was the same situation. my case pd was June 2022 and I just got approved in July 2023.

@ty th Yes. once field office sees enough evidence then there is a 65% chance they will.

@Xander Spence I hope the documents I submitted is enough evidence😩 but since NBC suggested it should be waived then I guess it should be enough evidence, God please.

NEVER trust the live agent in the chat format. Usually inaccurate information is provided. If you want to know about your case, call the USCIS number and speak to a live agent (USCIS officer).
