can Nvc made a mistake
My case is CR1 both of us. me and my wife we don’t have any previous marriage before and still Nvc is asking me to submit a marriage termination document between the petitioner and former spouse. What is this ?? The DS 260 and her document is all clean we check it back. There’s no error on our side. What can we do now
Security Check
Hi everyone
So I sent a text to my Attorney on the 3rd of August that my case has exceeded the processing time, so he emailed USCIS on the same day.
Today USCIS replied stating that my case is under security check.
please if anyone have experienced this, kindly share.

i485 transferred to Brooklyn office
Hello Everyone, can anyone in the house please explain to me what it means by my case is transferred to Brooklyn Field Office?
VAWA was approved Dec 2022 and my case was updated to fingerprint applied.
I reached out to my congressman sometime last month and explain my situation to him, he said the case is already out of time that they will follow up.
I called USCIS last two weeks ago and the officer said the only thing he can see is that my case is at Vermont Office.
Then today I called my congressman and I was told the feedback from USCIS they received is that my case is now transferred to Brooklyn Field Office that I should be expecting something really soon.
Please anyone have any ideal?
UPDATE: August 21 2023.
RFE for medical received on 21st of August by my artorney via email. Yet to do the medical but I will update once it’s done and mailed out.
uscis vs Emma
Hi guys,
Just called uscis and they told me my case was in Vermont while the guys on Emma kept telling me it’s in my local office.
I believe way more the agent I had over the phone.
He told me my case looks good and it’s still processing but he couldn’t get more info. everything else seems to be kept secret and that’s crazy how your personal info or details on your case can be kept so confidential even from yourself!
Any got some movements from VSC recently?
Submit Questions
I recently went on to the USCIS processing time website and I entered my PD on the “when Can I ask about my case?” tab. A few months ago it said I could ask questions on 2025, today it says the earliest I can submit questions is 2028. When will they stop moving the dates further and further out. This is getting out of control! has anyone else experienced this?
USCIS website not updating card shipment
The USCIS website is currently not updating the status for GC delivery. I have received the card while the message is still staying “Card mailed to me”
UPD: you can obtain the USPS tracking number by calling the USCIS. To get through to the USCIS life person by repeating “lost receipt number”
Aug 9 - New Card is being produced
Aug 10 - Case was approved
Aug 14 - Card is mailed to me
Aug 18 - delivered, but the status on the website hasn’t changed.
UPD: the status changed to “The card was delivered to me by the post office” six hours after actual delivery on the same day.
Ead approval
I asked Emma about my EAD case and she said was approved 3 days ago.
I checked everyday and didn't see anything, I also check the documents tab because everyone here says you can see it there, but there's some problem on my account because I don't see any uscis notices or my uploads there like I see for the other forms. For that reason I decided to talk to Emma.
My biometric appointment was last Friday and I noticed some people that applied recently being approved the same day or next day so I figured I'd be approved soon too.
I'm happy. Should I celebrate, can I trust Emma ? 😅

sponsor for form I-864 has stopped providing financial support
I'm posting here in hopes someone can point me in the right direction. my sponsor for the affidavit of support has ceased all contact and financial support. I cannot afford a lawyer and I'm not even really sure who to go to with this. Does anyone have any advice? I'm located in Virginia, my sponsor is my soon to be ex spouse, a navy vet with 100% disability pay.
