I131 (advance parole) expedite request taking more than 1 month to process, what can I do?
Hi everyone,
I filed an expedite request for my I131 more than a month ago, and still no updates. My mom had a medical emergency, she’s no longer critical (she was a month ago!), but the situation is still very serious, and I desperately need to see her. We all know what it’s like to have elderly relatives back in our home countries - anything can happen at any time. I’ve been beating myself up about not having been there when she needed me; what if her condition deteriorates and I’m too late?
I read here that there’s a way to make an appointment with an officer who will adjudicate the case on the spot. I’ve tried to figure it out, but the Emma agents have been beyond unhelpful - either they won’t transfer me to an officer or they tell me such a process doesn’t exist, that the only thing I can do is continue to wait and be patient. I know, to these people, we’re just numbers in a system, but this is personal to me and I’m starting to feel very down about it.
Has anyone experienced anything similar? Any advice?
My old biometric was used for my i131
Hi all, my old biometrics from my pending i130 and i485 was recently updated on my i131 (from Vawa)only. please note that I am still married am and my old EAD expires in less than 90 days. will the biometrics update apply to my i765 (from bawa) too ? or do I expect another biometrics update on i765 too ? or I should just await my combo card approval? please help a brother🙏

Hi all. I received an email from USCIS saying action has been taken on my case, but I don't see any updates or any new documents uploaded under any of my applications. Has anyone had the same experience recently? Just to give you a background: USCIS sent me an RFE for my medical in July and my medical form was received by USCIS on August 4.
