most time processing aren’t accurate 😕. couple month ago I was at 1week and it move up to 6month now

@april 2022 which country if I may ask. I actually emailed my state Senator to assist in expediting my wife case who is living in Lebanon and they responded to provide some sort of evidence before they contact USCIS and I am about to respond by saying whatever is on the news, the crises is escalating in the region, violent demonstrations against US institutions, anxiety and emotional distress

@R B I’m actually lebanese American but my wife is Turkish.. so I told them it’s in the region. idk if they’ll accept.. been waiting 18 months.. I think because I’m originally from Lebanon that’s why it’s taking forever ever.. idk 🤷‍♂️

@april 2022 thanks for sharing. I am in the same boat as you, I am a Lebanese American but my wife is Lebanese and the situation in Lebanon is not that great as I am sure you know. I lived and studied in Ankara so I take the opportunity of knowing Turkey very well to get with my wife every 5 to 6.

I want to send expedite request but my husband lives in Jordan so I’m not sure if it will approve..although the war is escalating so it is causing distress and anxiety in every level. it is humanitarian not sure what evidence they require besides the news on the crisis. it is not safe

@april 2022 sorry to hear that. I did ask to expedite also but I am doing it through the State Senator Office. I am sure it will also get denied but what can we do other than try. Did they give you any reason?

the sad part is I wish the USCIS had a system that talks to each other based on the different petitions applied for the same individual. I mean the I-129F K1 Visa was approved Aug 29 and it is at the NVC now. She is the same person but with a status change to married. All her and my documents are still the same with the addition of a translated marriage certificate
