Does this mean our interview could be waived? (RFE for Medical and Evidence)
Hi there,
We submitted our I-485 back in November 2021 when my wife arrived on k-1 and we got married. Its been silent ever since we had our biometrics and rfe back in Dec 2021. We messaged our senator for help a few weeks ago and it seems to have paid off.
Fastforward to today and we finally got a RFE for a new medical exam and additional evidence for our marriage. could this be a sign they plan to waive the interview? wouldn’t they have just told us to bring that stuff to an interview otherwise? Thanks in advance!
I-485 approved a day after the interview
We went to our concurrent filed case I130/I485 yesterday. The I-130 was approved the same day. Today the I-485 was approved. I am happy to answer any questions.

everyone waiting on an answer
We are all going through anxiety, depression, anger and nights of tears waiting for them to give us an answer. Some of us have been waiting for years and others for days, but we are all going through the same mental struggle. And I know some of us need to hear this, DO NOT FORGET TO LIVE MY FRIENDS!! And if you are all alone, find a community where you feel welcomed (not a kind of cult that uses you), do some volunteering, keep your mind busy, hang out ;)
We can not pause our life because some people are not handling our cases and doing their job. They are enjoying their lives while we are not living ours, so please do not forget to be happy and do not forget your love ones.

K2 status once arrives to USA
Hello, just want to ask if anyone has the same situation as mine. I am the petitoner, I became US Citizen in 2021. I filed I-129f on March 2023. Me and the beneficiary (K1) have a child born prior to my migration to US. The child was born 2006 and I migrated to US 2010. We are planning to file K2 for our child, however we are not sure if he will also be needing the greencard once he arrives in US or can he already apply for US passport since one of his parents (Me, the Petitoner) is a US Citizen.
