I responded to my I-485 RFE on August 20, and USCIS received it on August 21. So far, no update has appeared in the system. Has anyone experienced the same situation or knows how long it usually takes for USCIS to update the case after they receive the response?

A month after my lawyer sent a public inquiry to the NVC, they qualified all documents, and now we’re waiting for the interview date. How long is it taking to schedule an interview in Rio? My category is IB‑2. Also, my lawyer only sent the inquiry because I threatened to do it myself. Don’t just accept everything your lawyer tells you. If the NVC requests documents, make sure you send them even if your lawyer thinks they’re unnecessary. Please learn from my mistakes!
