receipt of notice
Submitted my renewal for my working permit Feb 27 and I finally got my receipt of notice today. My work permit expired May 9th.
I will encourage anyone who needs to renew their work permit to do it 6 month before expiration.
it took 11weeks to get a receipt, I wonder how long it will take for approval.
when do I get a decision ???
been nearly a month after interview this is stressing me out everyone getting approved same day or day after interview !

VAWA Case – 35 Months Pending, No Updates
Hi everyone, I’m looking for insight and support from others in the same boat.
I’ve been waiting 35 months since filing my VAWA case. My case status still shows “Case was received”, and there have been no updates, no RFE and no decisions yet.
In the meantime, I’ve received multiple Prima Facie Determinations, and my Work Authorization (EAD) and Advance Parole have both been renewed recently.
Is this delay normal at this stage?
Should we take it as a neutral or good sign that there’s been no RFE or denial after so long?
I’ve seen others mention 35–40 month wait. Is this becoming the norm for VAWA now?
Would love to hear from anyone who has passed this stage or is in a similar situation.
