I-130 Unsolicited Evidence (will it help?)
Hi everyone! My PD is July 28th, 2023, and my case entered the "Actively being reviewed by USCIS" status on October 21st, 2023. I'm looking for some guidance regarding uploading additional evidence to support my bonafide marriage through the Unsolicited Evidence upload tab. The challenge I'm facing is that my spouse lives abroad, which prevented us from sharing joint bank statements and a joint lease/rent. Thus, In my initial package, I submitted engagement party photos, wedding photoshoot pictures, various photos of us with family members in different locations, our marriage certificate*,* civil status documents for both of us indicating our marital status, with each other and screenshots of our publicly shared photos on Instagram. Now, I'm considering submitting pictures of gifts we exchanged, tickets from visits I made before and after our marriage, and some other supporting evidence. However, I'm concerned whether this additional documentation might cause a delay in my case. I would greatly appreciate your thoughts and advice on whether I should proceed with submitting this additional evidence. Have any of you been in a similar situation, and if so, did it impact the processing time? Thank you in advance for your insights!
