Employment Green Card W2 or 1099
Hello.
I received a green card under EB3 VISA.
I received it not inside the USA, but after an interview at the consulate.
I haven't worked for my sponsor yet and am just about to fly to the USA.
The question is: how can I work for an employer correctly under W2 payroll or 1099 self-employment?
For my company doesn’t matter, as I understand it, and I have a green card, that is, I can work for W2 payroll or 1099 self employment.
What is the correct way according to the law so that there are no problems with obtaining citizenship in the future? I looked through my Permanent Labor Certification ( PERM ) but didn't find anything there.

EB3 Unskilled Proccessing Time
The processing time has been consistently slow since October 2022 (16 months). I read some source on some websites and they saw EB3 Other Worker have around 26500 backlogs in 2023, if we get around 10000 visa available each year. It takes nearly 3 years to almost clear the backlogs. Another point is does USCIS actually use 10000 visa for other workers or they just use 4000 or 5000 a year? It would take almost 7-8 years to clear the backlogs if they issue 4000 or 5000 green cards per year for EB3 Other Workers.
I asked an AI to predict when the PD could reach to 2021 and they said with this current situation and no new changes or increasing in visa available each year, applicants have PD 2021 might get their green card in 2027.
Not sure how things is going on in the future but get really bad expectations for this due to many sources I have read.
Can anyone let me know if you are working more than 18 months already for the sponsor employer?

Hello everyone.im highly disappointed from February visa bulletin. idk what’s really going on with eb3 unskilled. I just don’t understand what was the point of making it “current “ in 2021 till mid 2022 if it was going back to retrogression now. I feel so annoyed because I have to maintain my f1 and can’t file for AOS due to filing date keeping moving backwards. it’s been almost a year my I-140 is approved (pd 07/22) and I’m still waiting just to apply for EAD & I-485. I am so clueless and worried. can someone tell me if the filing date will move forward or there is just no hope. Thank you
