EB3 Unskilled Proccessing Time
The processing time has been consistently slow since October 2022 (16 months). I read some source on some websites and they saw EB3 Other Worker have around 26500 backlogs in 2023, if we get around 10000 visa available each year. It takes nearly 3 years to almost clear the backlogs. Another point is does USCIS actually use 10000 visa for other workers or they just use 4000 or 5000 a year? It would take almost 7-8 years to clear the backlogs if they issue 4000 or 5000 green cards per year for EB3 Other Workers.
I asked an AI to predict when the PD could reach to 2021 and they said with this current situation and no new changes or increasing in visa available each year, applicants have PD 2021 might get their green card in 2027.
Not sure how things is going on in the future but get really bad expectations for this due to many sources I have read.
Can anyone let me know if you are working more than 18 months already for the sponsor employer?
My PD is Sep 2021.

if you look at previous visa bulletin there was a retrogression for almost 8 year and it took almost 7 years to clear all the backlogs but let’s just hope for the best.

@waiting for gc sure from FY 2006 to FY 2010 & between FY 2010 to FY 2017.

@sam young I noticed that they took almost 3 years to processing case in the year 2001 from 2006 to October 2008

@waiting for gc I also know some friends who got their gc in just 12-14 months but I believe your pd is almost near. best of luck

@sam young I know some have PD in 2021 get green cards really fast in 6 months. Thank you, hope some major changes
