spouse did not file tax for 2022
Hey everyone! I’m a green card holder through marriage, I’m eligible to apply for naturalization on march 2024. I’m trying to apply with 3 years rule ( marriage to us citizen) however, my husband and I had to file tax separately in past two years due to the fact him having problem with his company and can’t file on time. Now, this has been a problem to me because I believe I have to show my husband tax to uscis as well, and he is not filling his 2022 tax… should I wait for him to file his amended tax for 2022 and new tax on 2023, or should I wait for 5 year and just apply myself?
Him filing tax late is a mistake, I’m not sure if that is going to affect me for my natulization or not. will uscis see he file tax late and use it against me?
Please advise.
INTERVIEW
So I just checked my USCIS account and I saw that I have been scheduled for an interview for both i130 & i485. My question is, would these interviews be at the same time or two seperate interviews. My field office is about almost 5hrs away from home so I’m hoping I only have to make this trip once.

For the encouragement of others… when you see others getting approved much more quickly. 909 days!! Or to put it another way 2 years, 6 months! We fold promptly, fully and we were even commended at interview by the officer for a thorough and robust application. We were told at verbally told at interview on May 17, 2022 that we were being recommended for approval and that we should hear, with a permanent green card within around 60 days. It has been sent today! - December 11th, 2023 - 1 year & 7 months after interview!
We have even involved our congresswoman (a noted immigration expert)… all to no avail.
Here I am today very grateful and very relieved long last I’ve so much waiting. However, these experiences seriously damage one’s faith and confidence in the systems of government and administration within this country.

received RFE notice for I-130A incomplete
just last week I was notified that me and my spouse case I-130 needed additional evidence (RFE) and just today there was a notice in the mailbox. I am seeking clarification and specific instructions that the I-130A (spouse beneficiary) needs to done and if I have to submit documents along with it on behalf of my wife who she is currently overseas?
RFE notice only states that she (my wife) completes and not required to sign since she is abroad. Any help will be greatly appreciated!
P.S: USCIS also sends out G-28 form to fill out but I’ve never hired an attorney or lawyer throughout my case. Is that also required or not?
