VAWA I-360 Expedition Request Denied

I lost my dad last year due to a stroke and my mother is currently hospitalized. I requested that my case be expedited but the request got denied. I added my dad’s death certificate, his test results before he passed, my mother’s medical report and picture in hospital as evidence. For those that got their expedition request approved due to passing of a loved one. Please help me out with your request template so I can rewrite and resend. Also let me know all the evidences you added. Thank you in advance

i have not got it approved but from what I know, uscis would not understand medical reports, please get a letter from doctor, letter of medical necessity explanining your moms condition and need for a dedicated care taker

do you have advance parole? if not, ask for emergency advance parole and they will approve it

if you’re not in removal proceedings, you should be able to expedite advance parole or get an emergency advance parole for 30 days which is faster. consult with an immigration attorney

that’s heartbreaking to read. you can call and get Interview for 30 days advance parole. It takes 2-3 days and they grant you AP on the spot. In interview, they ask for doctors letter on the hospitals letter head explaining why you need to be there. Feel free to ask any questions about it.

I am sorry to hear that. I have very similar case to your family situation… I think it would be helpful to get your health condition that affected by those circumstances by a doctor or therapist. it comes down to proving that it is affecting your mental suffering, you need to show the proof that.
