I NEED HELP!!!!!!
Hello 👋 please I need your views on this. i don’t want to have reasons to delay with nvc. My wife live with her parent now. They are our joint sponsor. Are they required to fill I-864a both ( father and mother Inlaw)? my mother inlaw and father inlaw file tax as married, I think mother inlaw earn the more and way over the threshold. How do we go about the tax transcript? Also my wife only fill I-864? Thanks as you help me share lights on this and educate me as well.

my sister asked her uncle to sign the affidavit of support and because he filed jointly the both had to sign the forms

your wife will need to fill the I-186 and then you’ll need to fill out I-1864A for the sponsor(joint) you’ll need to add them as household members for sponsors that are supporting you

yes Because they are living in the same household they need to file the 864A, separate forms. both of them, mother and father. Have your wife fill out 864 even if she doesn't meet the threshold

you’ll need to still fill out both forms but where you’ll submit there will be an option to add house hold members and joint sponsors
