NVC stage
Goodmorning everyone this painful wait continues though I can travel I still have to wait on NVC for an interview date for my 8 year old son because I don't want to go to my home country and come back without my son the interview will be at the Embassy in Guyana .He was Documentairly Qualified 16 of Janurary 2024 am hoping I'll get a date by February hope you all have a blessed day sending hugs and positivity you guys way
Interview tips
Thank you everyone for your prayers. We are finally together after >3 years of applying.
Few interview tips:
1. Take all the documents you submitted on nvc.
2. Check if there is any mistakes in name, date in your documents.
3. Prepare and print to take the messenger/viber screenshot of the conversation of last few years with your spouse and photo album (around 100 photos).
Good luck all of you for Interview. My prayers are to all the people who are living a long distance relationship. I understand the delay is a torture. Sending good vibes and luck.

work permit and green card under CAA (Cuban adjustment act)!
hello!
I’m Brazilian and my husband is Cuban, we filled together for the i485 and i765 in last September 5, and we had our fingerprints collected in October 12. everything under CAA wich we qualified for it.
what everyone says is that our work permit should be approved within 3 months since we filled but it’s almost 5 months and we don’t have it yet. does anyone know if maybe there is something wrong with that?
we really need our social and work permit since we can’t work or drive in Florida without it! please someone give an advice!!
Over a year and nothing!
This process is so inconsistent and I would really want to talk to someone in USCIS about this. nothing about this process is humane. I have been waiting over a year and have heard nothing! other people who have waited months or weeks have been approved. Why must this process be this way!?
