I just got approved after 17months
wow it’s my turn 💃💃💃💃just got a notification on my lawfully. only for me to check on the uscis page and found approval notice on my documents what a journey.

case started from Nebraska, Vermont and Potomac but approval came from Texac am so happy.
Case was transferred to Hartford field Office
Yesterday my husband called USCIS regarding our kids case that has been pending since March 22, 2022. Their father who is a US citizen submitted the petition and to date we have not gotten a respond. Back to yesterday when I finally got through to an agent after many trial of calling them. When my husband asked why is it taking so long for their case to process they said that the case was transferred to Hartford field office and we won’t get any updates until October 2027. When I heard that is like my heart wanted to stop. She said it was because of the field office it was transferred to and 80% of cases take up to 5 years to process. It sound unbelievable, because both kids are minor and he is a US citizen so what the hell! I am so frustrated because my kids are in Jamaica and it’s almost 2 years since their filing went. It’s heart broken because I can’t go and look for them because I don’t get my green card or travel document as yet. My husband will visit them soon but I miss them😭😭😭😭I need help. Has anyone been in a situation like this.
Depressing
This is really depressing. I haven’t received my EAD till now. I filled on March 2023, did my biometrics on June 2023.
I haven’t heard anything from them to date.
My husband needs my financial support and I just feel like I’m being a burden to him. I need a job ASAP. This is bad and heartbreaking 💔

En el tiempo de procesamiento para tomar la decision de mi caso me aparecia q en una semana, y luego cambio a q mi caso esta tomando más tiempo del "expectado" . Alguien le a pasado lo mismo?

Status Update
My EB2-NIW have a Request For Evidence, and I received a letter in my adress. But, the status is still “case was received” on USCIS tracking.
Now, I sent more documents to awnser the RFE, but the status continue the same..
I doesn’t know what the real status of my case.
Anybody have the same situation?

Hello All,
USCIS received my I-485 on February 7 th 2023. My case was transferred to NBC then field office is Fort Myers (non-local). Biometric is done on the time.
My category is EB3- Professional degree and priority date is Jan 2022. My case was updated as " Case Remains Pending" on September 26 th 2023.
My case became current in January 2024, and don't have any update. I did not get any RFE or interview notice.
Yesterday I chatted with customer representative via Emma and the person told me that Department of State has not issue visa numbers yet that is why it is still pending. Once the visa is assigned for my case, it will return back to field office for final review. Is it true?
Do you have the similar experience? or did you hear from someone ? waiting makes me tired everyday and I see that some people are being approved even their PD and submission date are after me for the same category. I feel like it is unfair.
