Advance Parole expired abroad with a pending I-485. How can I re-enter the U.S. in time for the final interview?

Due to the war situation in Ukraine, I could not leave the country, and my commitment to family obligations, acknowledged as reasons for my initial advance parole, has led to an overstay of it. I am now preparing to apply for a new Advance Parole using form I-131, intending to apply from outside the U.S. and have the Advance Parole sent to our address in the U.S. while applying online. With our final interview scheduled for the first week of March (in less than a month), and my wife being the primary applicant in our case while I am the dependent, what steps can I take to ensure my timely return to the U.S. for our interview?

just explain to then in a well-written letter the reasons why you overstayed your AP- with solid proofs about the situation.-

your i485 might be considered abandoned even if you get back for the interview because you have overstayed your AP (and not lived with your family aka your wife). You have to contact the US embassy closest to you and see if they can assist you. You might need to start the process of AOS from overseas although you might get away with reusing the old 130 if it's been approved.
