filing fee for K-1 VISA (I-485&I-765)
my fiance (husband) filed for I485& I765 total of $1,225.00 via credit card and we included all supporting documents. But case was rejected due to incorrect filing fee. We filed it again with check ( which is mine) total amount of $1,635.00( $1,225.00& $410.00) but it got rejected again…
Does anyone know if my husband and myself is doing something wrong…? Also case got rejected on 3/9/24 and still have not received my case back….
case stuck at NBC for a whole year now.
anyone else in the same boat?
the last update I had was that my i-485 was moved to NBC on Feb 15th 2023.. and since then no update. any advice would be helpful.

L1A > EB1C : Approved EAD(i-765) and AP(i-131), pending i-140/i-485.... what if I get fired?
I currently have an L1A visa.
I've have an in-process green card EB1C as follows:
- approved EAD form i-765,
- approved AP i-131
- pending i-140
- pending i-485
If my employer terminates my job, where my L1A visa is linked to, can I look for a different job in the USA with my EAD approved form i-765? Do I have some time limitation? Thanks!

i-130 NOID
My wife and I have been married for a year. We submitted our documentation and pictures with our lawyer and surprisingly, we received a NOID letter asking for more evidence. No interview (which our lawyer asked to not submit too much because we will bring it to the interview)!!
I submitted the below items 5 days after receiving the NOID and mailed it this morning and will appreciate any feedback from all of you that went through similar challenge:
-I submitted 7 notarized letters from family and friends (her parents included) and coworkers.
-our join taxes filing/tax transcript.
-an album full of pictures with a description of each photo (location/people/time).
-join bank account (checking and savings) it shows our names both listed on the account with transactions like electricity/internet/groceries etc.
-water statements/invoice showing both of our names.
-photos of both of our ID shows that we live in the same location
-insurance policy shows both of our casr+our house insurance with our names listed.
-screenshots of old texts and social media pictures together celebrating events.
-marriage certificate
Do I still have a chance to overcome this beast? It has effected me so much, I know I can't control the situation and it is very stressful, specially for our plans this year together. Can't sleep at all. Our lawyer failed me and didn't guide me appropriately.
Any help or thoughts while going through this will be extremely helpful.
passport fraud
My father came to the United States using someone elses passport and visa back in 1997. The passport was not a citizens passport however we understand this is a big thing deal within immigration law. My siblings and I are USA citizens serving in the USA military and would love to petition for my father. Has anyone ever dealt with this and how did you overcome?

I did filed vawa on 9thJan 2023 and i got my combo card on Oct 2023. Now my question how can we find out wheater i got my prime facia or not because if i call to my lawyer he is not responding about anything just saying like if we need anything we will let u know.
I am just curious to check wheather i got prime facia or not, If anybody can help me to check from different way like from receipt notice or from somewher else.
Green Card & SSN - how long does it take?
My spouse came to US and it’s been 20+ days. When I tracked the Green Card online it says it’s being produced but for SSN I’m not able to track it.
I’m posting this question because a friend of mine who just came in Jan 2024 got SSN within 10 days but still waiting for GC.
But for my Spouse it’s been more than 3 weeks & haven’t received any. Is there anyone in similar situation. How long does it take to receive these.
