Second Expedited Request Denied
I wanted to share with you guys that my second request was denied. the first was based on Humanitarian Reasons and second based of financial hardship. my receipt date is 4/26/23. I have emailed everyone and filed an appeal for my first denial (haven’t heard anything). My only option is to sue USCIS. I believe I will wait until May to do it. I just don’t want to continue to loo law
more time in this process. I wanted to try everything just in case one of those steps would advance my process. the I129F didn’t do anything for my case. when one is filed USCIS just go was by the I-130 processing time.
Visa Issuance Wait Time
Salam guys, how long did it take after a successful interview for you guys to get your visas? My wife’s interview is later this month (inshallah) and I am curious on how long it usually take the Djibouti embassy to issue visa for logistical reasons. Thank you!

I got my Interview after approvals of I-140, I-131 and I-765
Hi everyone. Me and my wife got the interview notice at the NY Federal Plaza on 04/30/2024. Everybody says that we'll have approvals after interview but I think they might see something wrong or consider non-eligible. I am still working with the same employer and living at the same address. I had Tourist visa and then E-1 and now Employment Based Green Card from the same employer. My wife is pregnant and hopefully we are waiting a baby. While this interview process make us nervous, I hope everything goes well. Finger crossed.

it’s been a year and overall processing time moved from 25 to 43 months, which is -6 months since we filed!
it’s been a year when the processing time in California sc starting to double. plus 2 months almost every month. so in reality our cases are not even standing in the same frozen queue, but kinda moving backwards, the longer you are standing in that queue, the longer your waiting time ahead. #f2a
180 days extension VS 540 days extension notices
Hey fam,
I applied for an EAD renewal ( pending VAWA- Vermont office) last December and I got my receipt notice with the 180 days extension last December.
Now with the new rule that just passed- the 540 days extension, are they going to issue new notices reflecting the 540 days for the people who had received the 180 days extension notices before the new rule was applied??
if anyone who has received a revised notice, pls let us know..Thanks!
