im in same situation like you but my vawa not even approved do u know where is your 485 ? did you talk to uscis did they located your 485? if it is in local office what i heard they need to maybe transfer to Vermont or if it is in Vermont vice a versa

@kim John you gotta wait at least 10 months after so you should have your work permit in hand for 2 years or 5 years I heard they gave it to you for 5 years so go to work try to back to school cause it’s only way to make a decent amount of money in this country sit tight they’ll come back to you ok 👍

@kim John ;mine is same as you. my vawa got approved 90 days ago . nothing changed on my 485 , even no request for new medical form. the only thing what I knew is that my 485 currently is in feild office , no more in NBC and Vermont. My 485 has been filled on 2020 , and it’s out of processing time , they said to may I have to wait by email.

@tired from waiting i read that you will def have interview if they kove your I-485 to field office but not sure if that's correct info. RFE shouls come from NBC

my friend got her green card from NJ field office without interview

and also alot of green card i485 approvals from NBC too

My Vawa got approved over a Year ago. had a pending 1-485 from marriage too. still no GC. they taking FOREVER

i got approved march 12 2024 and i got my rfe for madicals record the last week of abril… i just send it 2 days ago

@kim John I was in same case for 2 years no response for gc, I had to get an info pass, and they told me that the marriage base gc is closed that I was suppose to file a new i485 from vawa, which is what I did now the process is going....so if you didn't File a new i485 with vawa application then you better go for infopass for enquiries to know the situation...I wasted 2 years waiting without knowing the situation..

@j h mine is still pending… I recently had my lawyer and congressman reach out to USCIS. my case is now at my field office. it’s just no movement happening
