Hey guys, I just found out my mom has breast cancer today😭 my vawa has being pending 28 months….
I called my lawyer and asked if I can expedite my case he said NO! I can only expedite my travel documents
Please, can y’all guide me on how to reach out to congress and what to say? I’m literally out of speech and I have been crying all morning
How long did you wait for the GC to be in hand after approval?
Just curious what the current timeline is after seeing "case approved" in the USCIS account. I've read a lot of posts on different platforms stating that there's a backlog for card production. But I've also seen people got approved between April 1 and April 10 of this year and already received their GC in hand. So I'm quite confused with how USCIS handles card production... Since it's not like case reviewing, why not produce GC in order?

US Passport Procces @Djibouti
Salam everyone. My toddler and his mother have their interviews coming up soon and I am wondering if I should start my son’s US passport application now or once they make it to the States. My history consist of living in the United States as a US citizen for over 20 years. So, is it necessary that I apply for my toddler’s US passport now prior to their interview date?
My goal is to get them to the States as soon as possible, then apply for my son’s US passport in hopes of avoiding staying in Djibouti longer than necessary. For the recent families that went through Djibouti’s embassy, what was your experience with your children’s US passport process??

this is my timeline
1/29/2024 - case received at Nebraska (i-360, i-765 C-(31), i485)
2/23/2024 - case received at Nebraska (i-131)
3/14/2024 - case transferred to Vermont - i765 C-(31) - to speed up processing
3/22/2024 -case transferred to Vermont - i131 - to speed up processing
3/28/2024 - case transferred to Vermont - i360, i485 with receipt says we have completed a preliminary review
after that no update and no fingerprint nothing.
EAD C-(31) Category means if my i-360 is approved after that i will get EAD right? as per the USCIS website i-360 processing time is 36months so i have to wait that long time to get a EAD card? OR EAD will come sooner? #VAWA #EAD #I-765

hi ! i talked with agent coupled days ago and they told me that my GC produce failure on April 12th so I had to wait 39 days more 🙏🤦🏽♂️😞
