Hi guys, i have a quick question
first courtesy letter September 2022 , and 9 months later
I received kind of Courtesy Notice Email(Only) on june 2023 to drop off 693 (medical exam) to local field office by bringing them to field office , and it is still 8 months no update on online or mail or email, does anybody has similar process

i751 and N400 Combo interview
i got scheduled for combo interview me, and in the letter they asked me to bring my spouse.
- we went to the interview and everything went smooth. the officer asked some questions about our relationship and needed to see any new evidence since or life circumstances changed since i applied for I751. then i handed evidence to the officer. it only took about 10 minutes. then the officer said okay now we will move to the N400 application.
- officer started with test questions and i answered 6 correct, the. writing test. and at the end asked me the yes or no security questions.
- at the end the officer said okay congratulations you met all citizenship eligibility. will recommend your cause for approval. and my N400 status changed to will be scheduped for cermamony. “ we placed you in line to be scheduled for ceremony” and i asked how long it takes? the officer said it might about 4 to 8 weeks it depends on availability.
- honestly i don’t know how long it takes for this step, i saw some people complaining about it took them 2-3 months until get scheduled

I called my lawyer and asked if I can expedite my case he said NO! I can only expedite my travel documents

How long did you wait for the GC to be in hand after approval?
Just curious what the current timeline is after seeing "case approved" in the USCIS account. I've read a lot of posts on different platforms stating that there's a backlog for card production. But I've also seen people got approved between April 1 and April 10 of this year and already received their GC in hand. So I'm quite confused with how USCIS handles card production... Since it's not like case reviewing, why not produce GC in order?
