Taking Forever (Over 950 days 😳🤷🏻♂️) , I-485 AOS(Married to US citizen)
We filed our case in 2021 around September. I got an RFE on Jan 18th 2022 and we responded to that and we got a notification saying we received your response on March 29 , 2022. After that I don’t have any idea what’s happening with my case . We received courtesy notice on Mar 17,2023 from Santa Ana field office, but I live in Omaha, Nebraska. In the notice if your medicals are expired please send new ones if not don’t send. My attorney enquired and On 07/06/2023 we received this “Case is currently pending due to security check” I googled and learned that could be because of my medicals expired and had done my medicals and submitted to my attorney . Not sure if they submitted or not. My visa is getting expired on May 18th , 2024 . We had our new baby and my attorney submitted baby birth certificate too. I applied for the I-765 extension on April 2024( I know we are late already) Wants to understand if we are in trouble ? asking for some community friends advice

I-140 Lawyer: Elis Porter (I would rate them 4.6/5, but very prompt. Keep in mind that you need to guide your attorney in your technical field.)
I-485 Lawyer: Yaming Gao (Gao and Associate, VA). I would rate them 5/5. Elis Porter was so expensive for I-485 application.
No RFE in I-140 or I-485.
Lawyer Cost:
I-140: USD 3500 (Contract signed in April/May 2022)
I-485: USD 1400 (both myself + dependent). My I-485 contract was signed in March/April 2023.
No premium processing for I-140.
No interview.
Did not need contact congressman/congresswoman.
Wish you all good luck!

Transfer of Underlying Basis
Hello Everyone,
I have an EB2-NIW (RoW) approval with PD of Dec 2022. Since my PD was retrogressed, my company filed EB1B petition with Sept 2023 PD.
Till now, I am still awaiting for the EB1B petition to be approved. As at when I submitted, the processing time was 4.5 months. Today, it is 9 months. It kept on going up.
Hence, I am considering requesting for the transfer of my underlying AOS basis from EB1B to the approved EB2-NIW.
Whil I have read about the requestments, please, can you advise based on precious experiences.
Thanks a lot!
