Expedite request for I 131
hi everyone , I sent my I 131 form to USCIS office on May 31st. at the same time I also sent an expedit request because my mother has cancer and is going to undergo surgery. I did my fingerprint and biometric on June 7th but I still haven’t received anything about my expedit . does anyone have information about this field?

Can you request a I601A before going to your NVC interview? Currently waiting for NVC interview. But wife and I are worried that they might ask for a I 601A , Since she was in the U.S without prior inspection.
She is currently in El salvador. No prior deportations or anything regarding being detain by immigration.

Any of you are applying for naturalization?
I applied this morning and in the next 10 minutes it was received and changed to actively reviewing right after. I also got in the document tab the receipt and reuse of biometrics.
Any of you got in the same situation and how long did it take to get to the next update? three months before interview scheduled?
I’m at NBC right now but will be at the Phoenix local office at some point.

hello everyone! hope you all are doing fine. i have a question. you guys must have heard about the new law in which you dont have to travel back home for visa interview, in other words you dont need i601a as long as you have been in US for atleast 10 years. so my question is.. if someone have been here for 17 years and have a bank account or and utility biss to orove his/residency, can someone who is American citizen write an affidavit on his/her behalf saying that this person has been here in US since 2010? can anyone do that? employer or relative or a friend?. will really appreciate your feedback. i pray that we all get our cases approved soon! Amen!
VAWA in progress and my husband requested for reconciliation and he is asking me my current status. I have mentioned that I am on H1B,
will this impact my VAWA? I really don’t believe in him after all what happened and what is still happening to me in this marriage. I am unable to move out of this marriage because of my family pressure and my trauma bonding with him.
I just want to continue on VAWA case and softly reject his sponsoring advise or thought. He has played with my emotions in the past on the name of immigration status.
I am more worried what will happen to my VAWA case since I am living with him under one roof though I have my own rental unit else where. I am giving him benefit of doubt but he is cheating on me and gambling most of the times.
Traveling
has anyone travel to Puerto Rico with only Driver License and no advance parole? I know it’s part of the US and you can travel with just a DL but wanted to hear some experiences before doing so. I have my EAD and I have a DL… would I have a problem re-entering? I have a i-485 AOS category B4 for SIJ pending
What can I do now?
My current work authorization expires in two months. I’ve requested EAD expedite for a long time, seems USCIS closed my expedite case because my case is being “Actively reviewed”; I contacted my congresswoman, that’s the answer the congresswoman office told me. I’m not sure what other options I have available now.

I find that a lot of responses online makes the experience more scary than what it is! I believe once you’re confident in what you’ve, you’ll be okay. we did it all without having a lawyer. Did our first interview one year ago, after waiting a year we were called in for a second interview many was saying don’t go without a lawyer which we did and it all went well.
