Reason why some attorneys have a perfect 5 star rating (or 4.9 star) even with 200/300/400+ reviews
After scouting through like 40 lawyers all over the country & looking up their details for days & calling some & emailing some, I have realized that there are three different categories of lawyers 1. One that fakes it - The lawyer that knows regular average stuff & will take any & all cases because he doesn’t get much business because once you work with him, nobody will ever come back again or refer anyone to him. This lawyer pays for reviews, I saw a couple of lawyers with hundreds of fake reviews. 2. The genuine but ‘fake’ at the same time - This lawyer doesn’t take chances with his reputation & will only accept your case if he knows that there’s a high chance of approval. The reviews are genuine, 5 star with hundreds of reviews, but it’s 5 star simply because they decline any case with any slight chances of rejection, which means no dissatisfied customer. A lot of the cases they reject get approved with help from other lawyers. That means they are just ordinary average lawyers but are honest & will not rip you off. 3. The genuine extraordinary ones - These lawyers cost you a kidney & a heart. They will take up all cases but will give you a genuine expectation & most of the times they will deliver. These lawyers have mostly positive reviews. These lawyers are highly professional and have staff that doesn’t think it’s ok to reply to the customer after a few days, like most staff at a lawyer office thinks. This is what I have come across in the last few days. Although my NOID lawyer is still working on my case, I am keeping my options of a lawyer open as of now & waiting for replies from a few.

I became a permanent resident today
This is my immigration story, ive been in the US since 2017 on a H2B visa, had to go back in 2020 because of Trump and re-entered in November 2020. In 2022 my Club started the EB3 process but i was running out of time since my H2B was only valid till November 2023. I filed a change of status to B2 in November while i was still waiting for my PERM but the backlog was just too big. After being single for 20 years i started dating again and met my wife in early December 2023. I told her right from the beginning about my situation and we had only 2 options, us moving to Germany or staying and file the greencard. Moving to shitty Germany was not a option for her and im happy about that,lol. We got married in January and our lawyer filed everything in February. The lawfirm was top notch and im happy i spent that money. Lawyers fees was only 2500$. Me and my wife sent the following evidence with our package: marriage certificate, photos, text logs, phone logs, joint house lease, joint bank account, joint credit card, life insurance, renters insurance, wedding ring receipts PD: 2/26/2024 BIOMETRICS: 3/13/2024 EAD APPROVAL: 3/15/2024 CARD PRODUCED: 4/05/2024 CARD DELIVERED: 4/08/2024 RFE for bonafide evidence: 6/17/2024 RFE RESPONSE FROM US: 7/01/2024 ---> we uploaded online all the statements from our joint accounts and we also share now the same car insurance policy I-130 APPROVED: 7/17/2024 ----> The approval notice was only in my wifes online account not in mine since shes the petitioner, in my account it only said: Case is being actively reviewed I-485 APPROVED: 7/18/2024 I still cant believe it. In 2 years im gonna remove the condition and in 3 i file for citizenship, so 2 more forms with USCIS and then im done with them. I been on this app since i started the EB3 and now its time to leave.

EB-3 Skilled with EAD Combo and End of F-1 Status.
Hi everyone, I received my EAD and Advance Parole (Combo Card) in May 2024. I was on F-1 Status and my F-1 Status “auto completed” after 60 days of the end of my Form I-20. The status of my I-485 is CRP (Case Remains Pending). Here is my Question: Since my I-20 has auto completed and I have EAD and Advance Parole, am I required to still go back to F-1 status while waiting for I-485 to be processed and approved? My EAD and Advance Parole Combo Card were approved before the end of my I-20. Notes: Priority Date: Sept 16, 2022 (Date of Filing of PERM Labor Certification) PERM Labor Certification Approved on July 3, 2023. Form I-140 was approved on August 4, 2023. Form I-485 was filed on Oct. 25, 2023. I will look forward to your input and feedback. Thank you.
