no they won't. if you are passed you Processing time you can try to send a service request using the uscis website or reach out to your representative (also usless). Talking to an attorney won't do you any good unless you have a question about your case, but with Processing times no one can help you. I am sorry

The question you have to answer first is are you current with your priority date? the 15months is only a timeline for the processing time

my priority date was April 2nd 2023

If that really is your priority date, you haven't been current in a long time. You'll just need to wait till visa bulletin becomes current for that date. I do find it odd that you got EAD and AP only 3 months after your PD? Unless you're a nurse and got to skip PERM process.

I am a nurse .. as well as I hold a Canadian citizenship. my lawyer was not completely open on all the details of the process so am here just trying to understand where am at.

@Yvette rose Check out the visa bulletin, or even in this app, there's a visa bulletin option to see historical Final action dates. Your application will be processed only after the current final action reaches 4/02/2023 or a later date. Right now it's Dec 2021, expected to get worse next month. But hopefully improves in Oct (new fiscal year).

@Yvette rose Once your priority date is current, you should get decision in around 6 months most likely. Depends on how far along you are with the interview and stuff. Actual processing doesn't take that long in most cases, it's just this retrogression that's backing everything up unfortunately.
