Case being reviewed since Jul 2022
Hi, we applied for AOS for parents in jul 2022. Case was pending with NBC until Apr, 2024. When we sent an inquiry via congressional office, we were told that it was sent to Lawrence field office to determine if it is a potential interview waiver and that if we don’t get notice of further action within 60 days to follow up with that field office directly. We opened service requests in Jun, 2024 and were told to wait for 90 days and open a service request. looks like the case is awaiting review and is taking time due to staff shortage. Anything we can do at this point?
I-485 portability
hello, my I-485 is pending for more than 6 months now and I have approved I-140. I would like to change my job title/position under the same employer. has anyone done this before? changing job or position with same employer while I-485 is still pending and file for I-485 job portability?
Application for renewal of EAD after L1A expiry - how soon can we apply?
Dear friends
My L1A expires in September 2024 and will
migrate to EAD then, and EAD is currently valid till May 2025 and for dependents in March 2025. Our PD is Nov 2022 India EB1C. GC Interview done in May 2024. My question is how soon can we put in application for the renewal of EAD and what documents do we need to submit for renewal
along with application?

hello everyone, hope you are all doing well, just a quick question, we paper filed our i130 back in August 2023 and only got a receipt notice, I was wondering how long it takes for them to actually change our case to being actively reviewed as it’s been almost a whole year and still no changes, should I be worried or if this completly normal
