case I-130 went from 1 week to taking longer than expected November 20, 2023 receipt date
I am a US citizen in Texas. Husband is in Australia during the process of our I-130. Filed in November, November 20, 2023 receipt date. About a month ago, we got excited because our progress went from 4 months, to 1 week and then TAKING LONGER THAN EXPECTED. Anyone else have this happen and what now 🤷🏼♀️

hi lawfully family,
my case has been pending since last year March, I already did biometrics and received RFE, which USCIS said they received last week. so a few months after submitting. I just wanted to know after receiving this kind of update how long after did you receive an approval? this is for i485.. thanks guys #i485
Recent filling to USCIS Lockbox
Has anyone recently sent documents to Chicago lockbox? I sent documents on May 1st and it was delivered May 4th. I have not gotten a receipt notice or a response. I'm guessing there experiencing backlog and need to wait but just wanted to see if others are in the same boat.
How many photos do you upload?
coming up on two years waiting for our i130 to be approved and I am constantly uploading photos as unsolicited evidence to my petition. I think I'm up to 30 photos 😅 How many is enough and how many have you uploaded. Maybe that's why our petition is taking so long. nobody got time to go through all my photos 🤣
Approval AOS!! no interview! no RFE!
Regarding my son's case, in the morning I spoke with an agent and he told me that the I-130 form was approved... a few minutes ago I received notification that the I-485 had been approved and I found the approval letter in the account in line. My I-485 form is missing approval, I sent a response from RFE and they received it on March 27, I hope to hear back soon. Thanks God!! I hope we all here have good news soon!!
