Got Asylum around 2022, and applied for my GC and i131 around June 2023. about two months ago I was approved for my i131 and was mailed to my old address, I had previously changed my address so I don’t know why it was mailed there, the new residence told me she saw the mail and drop it at her front door. the document went missing and I didn’t get it till now. on 8/22/24 my i485 was approved and mailed to my old address again but I did informed delivery and was able to see my document was held at the post office. I went there and the lady I met was a disaster, she didn’t give it because she said it was out again for delivery whiles their website showed it was held at the post office. I went back again and met another person and I was given the document. I thank God for everything.

my uncle applied for my mother on 25 of July 2013 and on june 14 2024 we got an email saying your case migrated to Elis with a new Case number. We entered that number in the system says case was received receipt notice not sent its almost 85 days after that message. wanted to know when will we get an update on it appr.

How long USCIS Background Check Takes?
Been waiting since Oct 2020. Congressman contacted USCIS, I called USCIS for status update as I’m outside processing time but I got same response that they are still waiting on my background check completion. Anyone had this response before and got approved? How long did the background check take?
