I apply for vawa full packet Jan 6 I have my work permit as of last week , my travel permit is still pending is anyone in this timeline ?
my concern is it has been since Jan 9 for my biometric on my travel document because they used my biometrics from Biden PIP , I received my work permit last week but the travel permit says I’m 10 out of 212 waiting on here and I don’t understand what that means either ,
My I‑130 Approval Timeline
February 8 – Submitted my I‑130 petition (Petition for Alien Relative)
April 24 – Received a notification that my case was still processing.
May 20 – Case approved by USCIS 🎉
May 23 – Case transferred to the Department of State for the next stage.
It’s been a journey of patience and persistence. Seeing the approval notice after months of waiting was such a relief, and now the case is moving forward to the Department of State. For anyone still waiting, hang in there , every small update means progress!
My I-485 has been approved today, ALHAMDULILLAH. Prayers for all of you, believe in yourself and ALLAH will make things for you.

I-360 Fingerprint appointment missed
Filed Date: Dec,2025
Fingerprints given for I-764,I-131,I-485 : Feb ,2026
Hi, I missed my I-360 fingerprint appointment due to a health issue. Later, I realized that I had missed the appointment, so I requested a new fingerprint appointment and received a service request number. However, I have not received any response for the past 30 days. Could you please let me know how I should proceed next, or if I need to call again to reschedule the fingerprint appointment?
New USCIS rule
lawfully community please relax, VAWA, DACA, U or T Visas are exempt from new rule, and for the rest of ya'll, we all have extraordinary circumstances not to go back to our home country like families, jobs and years of life here! Just get a good lawyer(which is not easy) and prepare a good and strong I 485 case. USCIS did a language modification that's all so continue with ya'lls life! God bless everyone and praying for approvals!
Uscis meno
it’s just a memo. It won’t apply uscis has pending 11.6 million cases out of which 60-70% pending cases are from F1 F2 B1 B2 J1 marriage based so it won’t apply to those pending cases. If anyone get interview from on now it might to harder and we might see denail cases. Also congress and Judge will ruled out this memo. So just be positive and stay calm.
international travels
hi all, I just saw a post with MRS Mounita Rahaman well known lawyer in NYC, saying if you got your green card through Vawa you should NOT be traveling at this time.! basically in a nutshell she’s saying CBP, DHS and USCIS. they’re giving a lot or trouble. to people who already have their green card and who’s in the process or getting it.
so think about your travels before actually traveling.
Policy memo not sure if this will effect me or not
Hello everyone so finally I got now 4th interview scheduled this time its for i-485 for our concurrent filing my wife is permanent resident and priority date is 7th july 2023 all interviews were attended with lawyer 1st interview : dallas tx for both (i-130 and i-485) 2nd interview : houston tx for i-130 (wrong jurisdiction) 3rd interview : Dallas tx for i-485 - learned they had our file mixed up with names for petitioner and beneficiary as my wife which was so not expected and officer tried to help us out and still conducted the interview. Post interview we had service request to field office to correct the details and got call from san antonio field office and was corrected and said will give us a call if needed anything now. 4th interview scheduled on june 25th now in san antonio in our jurisdiction for both i-130 and i-485 and we got the policy memo update today I don’t know what will happen now. I’m currently on H1-b and just can hope to pray everything goes normally cause we have submitted so many evidence already at all the field offices and now again have to take it at san antonio. I guess just gonna leave thinking about it and go for interview will decide our fate at interview since the relationship is honest and 11 years in usa with 0 violationa and always followed all the required laws #f2a
