Has anyone applied for citizenship with DUIs?

I’m going to be eligible to naturalize soon but I do have a DUI and one wet reckless on my record. Everything happened before obtaining green card and I have 5 years good moral character now and I’ve spoken with my attorney and tells me that I should do since I have a good chance.. I wanted to see if anyone has gone through the same situation and applied under this administration!! .

751 approved but not sure what to do

Didn't expect it to become complicated... So we filed i-751 jointly about 2 years ago, then thing went wrong at the end of last year and we eventually decided to get a divorce Just started the divorce process early Feb 2026 and I was still processing as well as looking for/researching what should I do with my pending I-751, like should I tell them when the divorce got finalized etc Then suddenly got approved without RFE or interview a few days ago... Tried to search a lot on the internet and the community but still not sure what to do...like should I contact them and notify about the divorce proceedings or if I do nothing will this become a problem when I file N-400? Would appreciate if anyone with similar experience to share, thanks a lot! #i-751

EB2-NIW Status Adjustment

IMPORTANT QUESTION: Has anyone been able to adjust their status after more than 180 days of being undocumented? Exactly 181 🥴🥴🥴 Apparently, I won't be able to adjust my status because I've accumulated 181 days and exceeded the time limit (180 days) under Section 245(k). Do any of you, or anyone you know, have managed to adjust their status even after exceeding 180 days?

Any August 2022 approvals yet? TIA!

I'm also waiting on my AP since October 2024. It's been 16 months 😫

concern about travel outside USA

I am planning to go to India next month, is there anyone who has traveled to India recently? Can you share your experiences? Can you tell me which airport is better between LAX and SFO?

i have a pending I-140 that was filed in March 2025. Since my priority date is now current on the Visa Bulletin, am I eligible to file my 1-485 (Adjustment of Status) and I-765 (EAD) concurrently? I'm looking to secure my legal status and obtain a work permit while the petition is processed. Is this possible?

Pakistani Immigrant Citizenship

I got my Green Card with EB2-NIW petition in Sep 2021. In June it will be eligible to apply for citizenship (90 days before 5 years). Am I eligible? Is citizenship application considered banned for Pakistan since it is in the list of countries from where immigrant visa processing is on hold? I have always lived in USA and will apply from USA.

Hello everyone, i would like to someone help me i send my medical in May 2025 in Aug my case was transferred to another office until now i didn’t receive any update, last week i went to my attorney and he called immigration and told him my case is denied in Aug 2025 but I didn’t receive any mail from immigration about it , my attorney told me he tried to submit appeal but the time is gonne now but he will tried please help what I should do???

Hi, do you think my case will automatically update? Would my lawyer have to do anything? I sometimes find it hard to trust her. My priority date is June 4, 2022. My I-485 case is on hold because there wasn't a visa number available for me. Or does it update automatically?

it is NOT easy. this IS a STRESSFUL PROCESS no matter how may days your approval takes. We all go through life even while we wait for immigration! You have to stay STRONG. and Keep Your FAITH. start everyday fresh and new. love on your families. do all you can to inquire. the congressman in Michigan I believe was helpful. thank you to everyone who encouraged, prayed, and answered my questions along the way!
