Time processing
Doea anyone know the processing time of an i-130 in the Texas center?
I am a Green card holder and I applied for my husband on March 24th. When I am checking the processing times for permanent residents applying for spouse it shows 1 week to 7 months (which means we are passed normal processing times).
Yet when I try to fill an inquiry the system says that I am still in normal processing time.
Any help?
No more I-944, thank you Joe Biden!
Just now, the supreme court dismissed a case concerning the self sufficient form I-944. Acting solicitor general Elizabeth Prelogar told the justices that both sides had agreed that the challenge brought by the former Trump administration should be dismissed, and the court did so! Having that said, that clears the way for the Biden administration to rescind the rule which makes it no longer valid., basically the rule will be blocked while the current administration continues its review process and decides what the new rule will be.
The USCIS website will probably be updated soon.
These are amazing news.
Me personally I was so worried about this form. This form wasn't about who uses benefits or what not, this form was a wealth test and we all know it!
So relieved!

(Supporting documents as above)
Form I-131
(Supporting documents, letter from a company of which I am a director expressing the need to travel to company projects in specific countries, signed by the chairman)
Form I-765

I-944 proof of education
Marriage based Greencard
I am filling out form I-944 and it is asking for my education. My graduate degree is in the US but the rest is in my country. It says that degrees attained in foreign countries should be evaluated and sent as proof. Do I need to send this information? I’m afraid the evaluation will take too long and my highest degree is in the US.
my experience
I did my Biometrics on jan 5, Interview was scheduled on jan 11 for Feb 9.
I had my interview on Feb 9 at Buffalo. We were in the waiting room for about 10 minutes then they called my name. I was with my USC husband and daughter, when we got to the door the IO said they only needed me in the room. My husband went back to the waiting room and I walked in to the office with the Officer, He swore me in, and then said your 130 has been approved already so we will just go through the 485, He asked me the yes or no questions on the paper, asked me I have been to the US previously, I said yes twice, then asked me how old our daughter was, he asked me to sign 2 places on the form and said, I'll go ahead and approve your application, you will get the card in the mail in a few weeks. I asked thats it? He said Yes. That was less than 5 minutes. YAAY
We left got home, then as soon as we walked through the door I remembered I didn't turn in my Medical, I had a huge folder full of of documents for proof but sine they didn't ask me to show them anything, I totally forgot about my medical. I called and the agents on the phone just said to wait and see if the'll send an RFE, 2 weeks ago i got the RFE asking for medical. Sent it out the same day and was delivered the following day. All this time my case status online showed we have scheduled your interview, till today when it has changed to card being produced. I have been a nervous mess chasing rabbit holes but finally I can exhale.... no ead no i131
