G-56 call in notice
Hello everyone,,
I just have some questions regarding to my AOS mariage based for the community.
There is a different notice letter sent for stoke interview?
I just received #G-56 call in notice letter from my local USCIS bureau, and the reason for the appointment is for stoke interview. It seems we will be interviewed by the previous Immigration Officer because I saw his name on the letter. At the first interview which lasted around 45mn I think we got 95% of answers right and according to our lawyer we did well and should be approved. So anybody has this kind of the experience before ? Also if you get approved after stoke interview and your mariage is less than 2 years which green card you get.

Need for EAD for E2 spouse self employed pending AOS
hi, i asked the question to the USCIS and they told me it was not clear and I should ask to an immigration lawyer (??) . it's up to the employer when employee but self employed is grey area. They were not sure because according to
Chapter 6 - Unauthorized Employment (INA 245(c)(2) and INA 245(c)(8))
Certain categories of nonimmigrants are authorized to engage in employment as an incident of status, subject to any restrictions stated in the regulations. [15] As long as the adjustment applicant complies with applicable terms and conditions of the nonimmigrant status, the applicant does not need to obtain an EAD to continue authorized employment during the time specified while the adjustment application is pending. These applicants, however, may apply for an EAD if they prefer.
Footnote 15: Examples of nonimmigrants authorized to work incident to status include E-1, E-2, E-3, H-1B, H-3, L-1, O-1, P-1, and R-1, among others.
So since the USCIS does not want to answer (they don't want to be held liable) should I pay a lawyer to confirm what i think?
filing for step son- question
hi all. my husband who is a US Citizen, will file petition for my son, his stepson, who is currently living overseas. the country where my son lives is still very strict when it comes to opening of govt offices due to covid. so until now, he doesnt have a passport yet and itâs very difficult to get an appointment to apply for passport. is it possible to file i-130, i-485, and i-864, without sending a copy of his passport? or is it required in any of those forms a copy of his current passport?
i have a important question!!!
i wanted to know if theirs a waiver that my husban can apply for so he dosent have to leave the country and finish his 1485 here in united states??? or is it really mandatory that he has to leave the country and come back legally to united states?? i have very bad anxiety from him even leaving for 2 hours and im scared if they decide to keep him in mexico he is my support and he is the one working and supporting us and his 4 children will they really have to send him...
New USCIS Notice For Removal of Conditions
The USCIS has announced that beginning September 4, 2021, immigrants who filed extensions to remove conditions on residency (forms I-751 or I-829) will now have their residency automatically extended for 24 months.
Until this change, immigrants who filed such requests received a USCIS I-797 Notice of Action receipt which only extended residency status for 18 months.
This change is due to the reality of long backlogs in processing I-751 cases for spouses of U.S. Citizens to remove conditions on their residency to obtain permanent green cards, as well as for EB-5 investors who file for permanent residency.
The new USCIS receipt is evidence of residency and can be used along with the expired green card to extend Driverâs Licenses, to work and travel.
