My experience using my EAD at Chicago O’Hare airport
I live in Chicago but l left the US from Newark airport on January 10 and spent 10 days in Europe then a week in Mexico before flying back to Chicago. Upon arrival, I handed the immigration officer my passport and combo card. He then asked me to follow him to secondary inspection to process the advance parole since it was my first time using it. I waited on a bench in the waiting room for about 15 minutes and another officer called my name and gave me my documents without any questions and I was on my way out. I think they just pulled out my USCIS file and verified my documents and application. The waiting time really depends on how busy the officers are. I think that If you’ve never overstayed your visa or had any problems with law enforcement, then you should be allowed in. I’m married to a US citizen and we have our GC interview scheduled for February 8.

Marriage based green card
My US citizen spouse (my wife) recently turned 18 after our marriage. She hasn't had a job before. She's still 18 and has a good paying job ready to hire her. my question was, how long does she have to work so that she can show her taxes and income. I read somewhere that you have to show atleast 3 years of tax returns and stable income above poverty guideline. But in my case as She's about to start her first job, how long does she have to work for so that the USCIS is satisfied with her income and tax returns? since waiting for 3 years is a very long time.
Can I still provide more evidence of our relationship even after submission?
Hello,
So I and husband having been dating for 7 years till we got married last year. As a citizen, I filed last year October . The issue I have is, we never added our old pictures of the relationship to the initial submission. Do you think we should add it now or wait till they ask for it (RFE)?
Another question is, what ways can I expedite my case?

My heart literally just sank into my stomach. All of January, the case processing said 7 to 9.5 months and serving April 2021. Today it says 9 to 12 months and serving February 2021. I am July 2021. How is this happening? Before Covid-19 this used to take 3 months maximum. I am. roken right now😔😭😢

Birth certificate must be notarized?? mine has English on it. HELP
Help.
Got a request for evidence, it’s asking for a copy of my birth certificate, which I did include one in my application submitted.
Although, my birth certificate was not notarized, but, it’s in both English and Chinese. Do I still need to have it notarized?! isn’t the whole point of that is to have it in English? The birth certificate is legal already. It will take a long time and very complicated for me to get it notarized. worried that if they will deny my case cuz of it. 😫😫😫😫
Hello everyone here. Thank you to your answers to my coming question.
I have filed for asylum I 589 in June 2020. Fingerprint in October 2020 and 7June 2021 I filed for EAD which I haven't received yet. Now I would like to know if I can also apply for advance parole (travel document ) while it's pending. I must make clear that I don't have interview date yet and the travel document is not to go to my country of persecution. Thank you for your helpful answers.
