Humanitarian Visa
Hi dear friends, I would like to know your honest advice about this situation:
I have 20 years traveling to USA with tourist visa, I have never had any issue, never wanted to stay in USA and never wanted to get marry to get a green card, I have two petitions one from my mom and one from a brother of mine, my mom is Legal Resident, this time I had to stay to take care of her because I am the only one that can take care of her, she got bladder cancer and she is taking chemotherapy in a clinic here in USA, honestly it’s being very hard for us, am her caregiver and need to be with her 24 hours a day, believe it or not is like that, all people get surprise when they see me with her all the time in the bedroom and doing everything for she to eat, taking her to the bathroom and everything, because she cannot walk, she uses a foley catheter to make pee and last mont got a surgery on the back to save her kidneys, now she makes pee through two bags added on the back and everyday with a big pain in the bladder and on the back, so it’s a very hard situation for us… I requested an extension to immigration for 6 months later, recently took the fingerprints, still waiting for the approval… my question is, seeing all this situation, can I apply for an humanitarian visa?… because I don’t know if I will have to request another extension of six months again or if possible, also I want to know if applying for an humanitarian visa my two petitions I have they keep the same, because right now I cannot do a status adjustment, there isn’t a visa available for me… thank you in advance!…
