1-130 IOE POTOMAC VIRGINIA
any Potomac fillers? what’s your timeline like? I would say, I’m considered a concurrent filer. 5 years ago I had DACA, and never renewed it. my lawyer filled 1-130 for me, she said it was going to be paper copies, ( because that’s what I gave her, all in paper) but apparently it was filled electronically due to my receipt number. 🤷‍♀️ immigration received my application July 23rd.

it’s kinda complicated to explain. but yes I did, that’s what my lawyer recommended. I had pledge guilty to a DV misdemeanor, a month after I turned 18 I got into a problem with my brother and he called the cops, and I was 5 months away from graduating high school, I still needed to complete an extra credit; I was behind. so after a week of being in jail for my first time ever, I finally got to talk to a judge which I made a HUGE mistake, and so I was told if I pledge guilty I would be released within 24 hours. so I did it due to school. not knowin or thinking of how bad this was going to affect me. during this time I had my daca which was set to expired 5 months after that incident, and do I could not renew due to that domestic violence misdemeanor, as I was putting myself in deportation according to the law and lawyers. it’s been almost 6 years since I’ve got in trouble. my lawyer said I was on the safe side since I am now married to my baby’s father, whom I been with for 6 years & I have two kids with.

immigration has my biometrics already & I already had the 1-756 EAD, it’s expired meaning I also have a valid social security with that, obviously I can’t use it now because my documentation for that is expired.
