I’ve trying to get a divorce but my husband does not want to sign it… what should I do?
I asked him a couple times if he can sign it, he said yes but he haven’t do anything yet and it’s been 7 months already… I know that I need a contested divorce but I don’t have the money to pay for it… I don’t know if I can get some legal aid help or what.
I believe that he doesn’t want to sign it cause he thinks that I haven’t fix my immigration status yet and I’m not planning to tell him either
any advice, anyone with the same situation???

VAWA CASE - receipts
hi guys, I applied for Vawa Form i360+ Form i485 Adjustment of Status + Work permit i765 on August 2022, EVERYTHING TOGETHER, but I just received my i360 receipts. I spoke with my attorney and she told that I have to wait, because probably they not process my other application, but that’s not normal, I want to TRACK my cases and I can’t because I need to “wait”? I can’t request a inquiry on the USCIS website because need a Receipt number which I don’t have it. please share your cases #vawa

hello! I see as a healthcare provider I can place an expedited request for my initial EAD after 90 days of being pending. Does the pending status count from the case received date or the date they send me the receipt? there is 60 days gap between them. I am not sure from what time I am considered pending! #vawa #pendingvawa #expeditevawaead

My immigration options are given below:
October 2022: My employer filed PERM, but not yet approved.
January 2023: NIW I-140 approved.
May 2023: EB1A I-140 approved.
I have the following queries:
1) I want to clarify if having an approved PERM means I have obtained the priority date. Is it necessary to file an I-140 after receiving PERM approval through the employer to secure the PERM priority date?
2) If my PERM is not approved, but I file I-485 when EB1A becomes current, what happens if my PERM gets approved after 1 or 2 months of I-485 filing? Can I update the PERM priority date on my submitted I-485 application with the approved PERM? Will this shorten my waiting time for the I-485?

Two EADs
Has anyone received two EADs? After waiting for more than one year I got my EAD back in February. Yesterday my lawyer reached out to me saying that my EAD was approved. USCIS sent out a second one.
It looks like USCIS is all over the place. Not necessarily a good thing to receive two EADs. that just shows that the immigration office isn't communicating with all the different departments #ead #vawa

I’m worried
hello everyone, please how long does it take USCIS to acknowledge and send receipts of EAD renewal? I submitted my renewal to Vermont since last week Tuesday and haven’t gotten receipts yet. Also are they likely to send them to my attorney regardless of I indicating that mails can be received at my address? thanks #VAWA #EAD #COMBOCARD
Case re-opened
We had to reschedule our interview last year so I-485 was denied of course because we didn’t attend interview. I got letter in mail later that rescheduling was approved and new interview date will be scheduled. I applied for Vawa meanwhile and sent new I-485. Yesterday my old I-485 changed status from “case denied” to “case being actively reviewed” so they re-opened my old case. What does it mean for my AP? Is it valid still? Can I travel?

Vawa unsolicited evidence
Hi, is it possible to send unsolicited evidence for vawa? I have more evidence that I didn’t submit with my application, it was very hard mentally to do the application and I had a mental block. I just remembered more issues that happened and I have the documentation for it #vawa #i360
