State Identification Card & Help Building Credit OR Help Buying a Home
I am a US citizen. I married my husband in 2020, a Mexican immIgrant that’s resided in the US approximately 20 yrs . We’ve filled I-130/130A ( Petition for Alien Relative). I recently sent additional info requested to keep our petition moving forward. This is where we are right now and I know I can only wait for a response from our petition. In the meantime, I’ve been trying to get my husband approved for a state ID. They will not issue him one even with our marriage certificate, passport, a social security denial letter, and numerous other documents showing proof of him living here.. One thing that we don’t have is the employment verification form. Does anyone know how this would work when we are both self-employed? I don’t understand how he’s able to buy a vehicle, have it registered (in his name) along w/ tag, title & insurance, yet he’s not allowed a state ID. Does anybody have any info or suggestions for us in our situation? They would be extremely appreciated! Thanks a bunch.

How soon should I get a response
So I am keeping track of a case. On the cases it shows that it's at 6 on line and has 69 cases behind this case. How soon should I hear an answer for USCIS or by mail? or how many days does it take to get to 1? very curious and nervous and happy. N400 interview scheduled while i751 still pending
hello everyone,
as you know I filed i751 from February 15 2019. since 2019 my case is ready to schedule an interview....but no update so far on it.... 3 times Infopass now requested for another one.....
later in February 2022 I filed n400 as well ....now last week they did scheduled my n400 interview... I hope they will do Combo interview or uscis approve my pending i751 without interview same time..... let see I'll share my updates....

NVC case number
Hello everyone, I have not received any correspondence from the NVC since I received my Approval Notice Letter on August 2, 2022, for my 1-129 Visa.
I communicated with NVC, and they say they don’t have a record of receiving my approved petition from USCIS, so they will contact USCIS to determine the location. But I haven’t received anything. So I contacted USCIS, and they said, “Once an initial I-129F petition has been approved by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, it is forwarded to the National Visa Center, which is an entity of the State Department (DOS). The State Department (DOS) controls visa issuance. Once with the State Department, USCIS no longer has jurisdiction or access to the petition.”
What should I Do now? Neither of them gives me an answer. I should contact the State Department to see if my case is stuck there. ???

Hey guys i got my rfe may 2 and responded week later and they updated respond was received in may 12 since that time I didn’t get any news not even my work permit I only did fingerprint and when I checked my online account there is one new update says cancelled rfe what does it mean if it means they found what they had asked me why I’ve waited since May 12 and what should I do anything i can do , thanks for answers

Do we’ve anyone whose approved and retained I-130 is sent to NVC while I-824 is pending?
My I-130 is approved but USCIS retained and asked me to file I-824 in order to request USCIS to send approved petition to the NVC. My I-130 is retained due to a minor mistake I’ve made while choosing the immigrant visa application location. Recently I’ve seen a lot friends are receiving approved and retained I-130 petition is being sent to the NVC while I-824 is pending. Do we have anyone whose petition is sent to NVC while I-824 is not approved? #i130 #i824 #nvc #uscis
No update so far...
Unexpected things are going on.... I don't know why taking that long long time...as i know i 751 has lowest priority but they supposed to make decision so far...it's already waiting period more than 41 months... outside normal processing from last 6 months

craziest things ever
on November 29th 2021 #uscis scheduled for an interview and 4days later they canceled my interview i didn’t hear back from them until April they i reach out to them by making an inquiry and then they Emailed me saying your request to be rescheduled for an interview is approved we will reschedule you within 90days and ask me not to do another inquiries because it might end up having my case adjucated based on what they have which is not good
guess what 90 days passed until now didn’t hear from them now i’m just tired they can have it i’m done done done done
Address changed without any notice!
Hello Lawfully Community!
Today I contacted USCIS because my notice has been missing for 6 months. She told me that my address is different than mine. I tried to get that information but she didn't tell me. I found out during the phone call. It was completely different state. Which is I've never been in that state. Is there any possibility to know my address change history or currently on the USCIS system now? Has anyone had same experience with this?
