if your case was sent to the Department of State you should have gotten an email or mail from NVC please check your email thoroughly it happened to someone I know and when he contacted NVC the email was sitting in his inbox for 4 whole months he was also told he won’t be contacted via mail about his case so he’s to continue checking his email good luck!!

we were having this same issue. our case was approved on 12th august. and we weren’t getting any specific information from both departments. so we decided to contact the local congressman and he was able to help get for us our case number from nvc and the date they received our petition. so i would advise you to contact your congressman and ask for help. he will if he is not that busy

https://www.house.gov/. please use this link and enter your zip code and get your local Congressman. and explain to him everything you are going through and ask for help. hopefully he is not that busy. ours was nevada and thankfully he was working from home cause he was a bit sick.. so he managed to help quickly .

I am in the same situation, my petition was approved on 15th July 2022 and PD is current. My case was sent to Department of State on 23rd September. NVC says that they don’t have a record of my petition until now and USCIS responded that the case already has been sent to NVC. I don’t know what should I do as I am not getting proper response from any department, please advise.

Hello @DH, it's the same situation. I didn't get any response until now. What I did was contact the congressman. They responded quickly and said they would submit an inquiry to the National Visa Center regarding when a case number will be issued to start the visa process for my approved I-129F. Try to see if you can contact a member of Congress too.

after getting case number, check on status on ceac.state.gov click my visa application status under immigrant if your cases is ready then go to ustraveldocs.com and create a profile and then you can schedule your own interview just make sure you have your DS-160 filled out and submitted. . the good thing about Fiancé visa you don’t need invoice number to go upload docs and wait for them to schedule your interviews. my case was already sent to Embassy on Oct/27/2022 they sent my invoice on Nov/22/2022. that is after I reached out to congressman.

ya contact your local Congress man or congresswoman. I got approved on Aug/30 got my case number already on Nov/22.

when is your NOA-2 valid till? my was Dec/28th.. Did your expire already? if so you have to reach the US consulate to extend it..

Hi @D H, if you got your NOA-2 send that to NVC when Doing an inquiry online. they need to work with USCIS to get you answers. I suggest you also reach out to your congressman, and write your inquiry. they will get the answers you are looking for. What state are from?

Hi @Chetan USCIS already transfer my case to NVC and it is also mentioned in NOA. How to reach to congress man. I applied to texas service center but my attorney applied from Virginia as he living there. please advise

Sure, what state are you from? let’s say you are from Chicago. go on google, type in Chicago Congressman. it will give you their link. there on the link it will say to “contact us” click there, their email would be there.
