We might have left out an important question in I-129F (K-1) and now freaking out
OK, I am having a little freak-out moment right now and I would really, really appreciate your help.
We filed I-129F in mid-December and already received our NOA-1. The money was withdrawn as well.
When we were filling out the I-129F, we first filled out the PDF electronically. Then my fiancé printed it out and manually filled out the empty fields with "N/A"s etc. before sending it to USCIS. Sadly, he didn't scan the final form.
Today I was checking the PDF version of the form and I noticed that the 53rd question was unchecked, which reads as "Have you and your fiancé(e) met in person during the two years immediately before filing this petition?" I know it's one of the two requirements for I-129F approval so I really, really hope my fiancé checked this box with a pen after printing out the form. He said he had gone through the form twice but of course, he can't clearly remember.
We did write in Number 54, however, that we went to school together in the US between Aug 2018 and Apr 2020 until I went back to Turkey, and that we met in person in November 2021 in my country and got engaged. We also mentioned in our letter of circumstances of meeting that we met in person in November 2021, provided his boarding passes, attached photos, and even added the ring receipt from November 18, 2021. Other than that, we provided ample evidence from 2018-2020 with flight tickets and hotel reservations of our trips in the US and in Turkey, lots of photos together with our families and friends. I even added a photo of us and our friends with a cake that had the date "March 3rd, 2020" (the day I converted to his religion).
In this case, what could happen? I hope it'll only be an RFE and not a rejection...
Thanks a lot in advance.

K1 Visa - Feb 2021 Filer
My fiance recently has received the below response from USCIS for his second outside normal processing time inquiry.
'Your case is currently being adjudicated. You should receive a notice of action* within 60 days.'
Has anyone received a similar response? It has been almost 300 days since USCIS received our I-129F form. We hope it is not going to take 60 days but we are worried we might have to wait for another month or so...😭 FYI, I'm the beneficiary from Japan.

curious to know if anyone has friends or family from Brazil that were approved recently and what their timeline was. it’s difficult to get an idea of how long the process takes with covid now being a factor.
of the cases being approved now how long did those people have to wait?

Hello everyone
I am applying for a US fiancé visa (k1&k2) and I am Iranian. My chosen embassy was Ankara in Turkey. According to the latest news on the website of the Turkish Embassy on September 13 and 14, it seems that without the condition of having a residence permit in Turkey, for third countries, one can wait for an appointment. is it correct? And that 6 weeks have passed since my case was "read" and my case tracker on September 13th, the status of my case, showed 99%. How long do you think it will take for me to be invited for an interview? Do I have to make an appointment at the embassy? What is the next step? Friends, please guide me.
thank you

Hello Everyone,
My fiancé and I submitted her K1 visa on February 15, 2021. We have still not heard back from USCIS. She is in South Africa and I am back in the states. I am a US Marine and I will be deploying in March, 2022. Due to these circumstances, we are hoping the visa will be approved ASAP. Any idea on where USCIS is in the approval process? #k1 #I129F
