How long total for k1?
We submitted our app 5 months ago- 145 days. I was hopeful that the entire process would only take about 9-13 months. But now I am reading things that make me believe 9-13 month is just for the application approval and there are many steps after that. Looking for some info from others who have recently gone through the k1 process. How long has the K1 taken from time of submitting the application until your fiance could come to the States? Thank you!! 🙏🏼#k1
Waiting Game
We don't know how long it's gonna take but I can see from some websites said that it would be about 15 months now. Just wait to the day all things done with high hope that it takes a little faster.

APRIL 2022 - 2nd interview (stokes) it went pretty well and was confirmed by our lawyer.
work status - work permit
criminal status - my husband have clean records with no police case same as me
marriage age - 3years
each time we call for updates - we are doing background checks
expedite - we expedited 2ce to no avail
expedite - we reached out to ombudsman and we are still on the queue
My husband and I are both African American

So we applied for K1 visa March/8/2021 and my
interview was April 6/2022 in Jordan (I'm Iraqi living in
Jordan) and everything went well except I needed to
resubmit 3 documents since 2 of them were
expected and the other one needed to be certified
and the visa officer told me to send them with my
passport so they would print the visa for me, I did
everything he said and sent the documents and the
passport April/21.
April/26 they sent me an email with 10 questions to
answer like parents names and place of birth and ex
name and birthday and so, I sent the answers
immediately and the next day they sent me my
passport back with no visa and an orange paper said
"Administrative Processing" and I have to wait for
them to call me
Nothing updated since then and I and my fiancé sent
them emails and nothing happened they don't answer
the calls we even went to the embassy and they
didn't let us in or even to talk to anyone in charge
We called the senator and they didn't do anything.
What we can do to solve this problem? How we can
speed up the process?#administrative_processing
