I did expedite for 3 times With 2 RFE ( 2 denied and the last approved). as soon as it got denied I expedited again. Reason Registered Nurse ( Government Emergency for the Pandemic).

question; what did they ask or do to determine yes or no and then when request was approved what happened?

We expedited on our own twice plus we did one congressional inquiry which is still pending. 1st one denied after RFE, 2nd one got approved after RFE this morning and card being produced as of today.

@sassy j you called 2 times, 2nd one was approved and reason for your expedite was what? and as soon as it was approved they said they would do card? also, case was for what?

@Day ce They asked for Evidence, did not say the documents just " send us more evidences" I sent my diploma, and letters from job offers. Then they denied again, but sent me an email saying that they are going to look review my case in few days, so I did not do anything then after 14 days they approved my case ( the same one that they had denied ). I expedited 3 times

We chatted with two different agents through Emma and put in the request twice for EAD renewal. They sent an email RFE both times after 2 business days of requesting expedite. 1st one got denied after 1 week of submitting RFE. 2nd one got approved 1 day after submitting RFE then EAD status changed to card being produced the same day (today). We requested them on the basis of “Financial loss to a person”.

how far apart did u do borh request?

My spouse had an official work stoppage letter for 3/2/22. Hadn’t he getting the expedite request approved that would mean loss of job, inability to pay for our mortgage leading to possible foreclosure, inability to pay for utilities, maxed out credit cards and other things due to recent house we just bought and so on, long list lol. So we submitted evidence of all of this and more.

@sassy j wow and when was it you did first request? when did you do second request?

We were told we were unable to put in a new request until 7 days from 1st denial. In the meantime we did congressional inquiry through our Senator. Then, after 7 days of denial we were scared of requesting another one while the congressional one was in process. Then someone from here told me that I could do it since it won’t hurt. Then we dit it 3 weeks after denial of first one.

ohhh okay and same day of request approval you got card update?

We sent 2nd request last Thursday, we got email RFE notice on Monday, we sent response to RFE yesterday and this morning the approval notification wroke me up. Then toward midday status changed to card being produced. 1st one got denied on 2/8.
