Reschedule Biometrics

Hi Guys, I'm wondering if it will make a difference if I go walk in to the local field office to do my biometrics ahead of time? Will it speed up my EAD application by any chance if I get an earlier biometrics appointment? #I765 #K1AOS

while I am waiting on a response for my i485. this morning when I logged in my i765 & i131 progress tab changed from taking longer than expected to “2 months” on both. does this mean I won’t be hearing back on my i485 for the next 2 months as well? my rfe received by uscis will be 60 days on 10/29. did anyone have months listed in the progress tab and still got approved for i485? #i485 #i765 #rfe #60days #progresstab

My i765 case status updated to new card is being produced. But I-131 has no change. How long will it take for AP to get approved?

although I am waiting for approval on my i485. yesterday when I logged in, under my i765 “my progress” tab it showed time remaining “1 week” for the first time ever. Then when I logged in today, that changed back to taking longer than expected. this made my hopes go back down 😔 #i485 #i765 #myprogress #1week

timeline for i485 and i765

I have a question to whom ever could help, i was given daca when I was younger and recently my father and step mother were approved on there i485, now it’s my turn, I received (u visa) status per my dads wife, and now I’ve summited my i765 and i485, I have not received many updated on my i765 and my current permit expires in October, my i485 has shows fingerprints were taken, ( my lawyer told me that sometimes USCIS reuses the old fingerprints from previous applications), I wanted to know what time timeline or timeframe is to ether revive my i765 so that I don’t loose my job. thank you! #I765 #i485

I submitted all our paperwork for a green card through marriage back on the first week of January, and my uscis shows the following: i130 - case received and receipt sent i485 - case actively being reviewed by uscis (since February) i765 - case received and receipt sent (taking longer than expected to process) I'm curious to know if anyone else is in the same boat. FIND MY APPROVAL NOTICE WITHOUT STATUT CHANGE ON THE USCIS ACCOUNT😱🤔?

i went to the biometric appointment on monday august 7th/23! in the same day after 5 hours,i just scrool to the document tab by random i found my *standalone approval notice*,that is mean they approved my case,but someting going wrong with the USCIS website account because my statut supposed to change automaticly but is not the cas,it is still stay the same "case reviewed" should i worried about or should i wait for my card arrive in my mail box🙌 #i765 #approval #workpermit

Receive case decision

I have submitted I-765 form and it was received on May 17,2023. On mid of July, when I checked the case at USCIS website, it says check biometrics, and was completed within 2 days. Since that time, I am on step 3 " Receive case decision", and it still current. Any idea when I might get the decision (approval/denial)? My job start date gets closer and closer. Also, is there a way to expedite the processing time, or it is not worth and not recommended in my case? #I765 #processingtime

Inital EAD was not received. RFE for renewal.

I applied for EAD based on c8 - pending asylum case. In 30 days I received a notice from USPS that my card had been delivered. I had moved at the same time so the address wasn’t updated in the system. I managed to get access to the mailbox and I only found approval notice and ssn. The EAD card was missing. I contacted USCIS and they said I can reapply and pay $400. I submitted and it took 30 days to get an update - unfortunately, it was a RFE. They are asking to provide proof that my card was damaged or stolen. neither is my case so I’m writing a letter outlining the timeline and showing that the card had never been received. Has anyone had this experience? 1. not receiving EAD even if USPS said it was delivered. 2. RFE asking for proof for renewal - what processing time did it end up being? #i765 #i589

I chat with agent on my 765 status. It was saying actively reviewing and i got this response. Any comments on this “ The status change to state that the case is in adjudication. Adjudication means that it is pending a final decision by the officer. Unfortunately the officer does not state the day the acceptance/denial will be stated and sent out to you by mailing as of yet.” #i765

Question regarding I765 approval as a h1b holder

First of all, good luck to you all. I just got approval combo card (i765 EAD + Adavnced Parole) and still pending for I485 and I130. I am processing i485 as a spouse of US citizen and currently h1b holder working in the US. My questions is if I want to get a new job from a company, which authorized work permission should I use or which one would be beneficial? For example, h1b should go through h1b transfer process and I have 0 knowledge on i765 how to use it when I get a new job. Doesn't the employer have to be h1b visa sponsor if I get a job with i765?
