can I change my interview location country while I wait for interview letter? I already got documents quilified from NVC and my case is already in the US embassy/consulate but I want to change my interview location country. is it okay if I change it?

9 months since interview still no updates
Hi family,
I did my AOS (485/130) interview more than 9 months ago. Still no updates since then.
My wife and I have been married for more than 3 years and we had a baby few weeks before the interview.
Any recommendations?
