Hello Everbody, I filed for my husband I-130 March 2022 and it was approved April 2023. We became documentarily qualified on August 17th, 2023. It is currently January 29, 2024 and my case is still at NVC. I have tried to submit an inquiry to Ciudad Juarez, because that is my interview appointment, but they stated that I have to send my inquiry directly to NVC because it is still at NVC. Is anyone else going through the same process? I do not know what else I can do to expedite it is about to be 6 months and still no interview date. #ciudadjuarez #ir1 #i130 #appointment

I sent proof Bonifide marriage through the USCIS page on unsolicited evidence. My progress says 7 months now; before it said 4 months did I do something wrong?

We received our notice from the NVC that our documents have been accepted and they will notify us when they transfer it to the consulate (Tanzania) for the visa interview.

I need some advice
Hello everyone,
I need to some advice because I'm not sure if my lawyer is handling my case right.
I came when I was 17 yrs old with a tourist Visa, and my dad was able to submit a petition for me, but I was already over 21 yrs old.. I have the I-130 approved and my priority date is ready.
My lawyer said that I have to go to my country for my interview. In order to do so, I needed to submit the I-601A and have it approve before going to my country for the interview.
Is he doing it right?

how long did it take to get the i-130 approved for those that did consular process? (not adjustment of status). Wife is from 🇲🇽. Did anyone try expediting it or K3 visa to get it approved faster?
