Vawa Alex Padilla Senator Inquiry Request
hi guys, has anyone ever asked Senator Padilla in California to raise an inquiry on your case? how did it go, how fast was their response? I emailed them for inquiry help a month ago and never got a reply. Does senator usually respond to your email and give you updates before and after contacting USCIS? My attorney has been lying to me and saying that he already submitted some inquiries and wrote a few letters but when I called the USCIS, there was absolutely no inquiry on my record. I tried to do inquiry myself but USCIS didn't even bother because I'm not attorney. My attorney and his law firm partner decided to ghost me for the past few months. With all the immigration changes happening, I dont have any more time to lose. I really want to move forward since my case is out of processing time.

Praise God, our case was approved after 28 months. I want to encourage all of you to keep your head up and never lose hope! Here is our timeline: Aug 22, 2022- pd, same day AR (online application, petitioner lpr) California sc Dec 18, 2024 - request to upgrade lpr to usc Jan 14, 2025 - case upgraded to usc, same day approval, Vermont sc Jan 18, 2025 - case sent to NVC, same day welcome letter I know your pain and devastation, some days I felt like we were forgotten, our case was lost and we would never see movement. But our faith is stronger than any of the broken system, pandemic or anything else! God's time is perfect and always will! I'm praying God will send approvals to you soon! Amen! Encourage your spouse, pray together and spend time with your loved ones, because very soon you will move to the States and will be missing your family and friends. God bless you all!

I-130 FINALLY APPROVED!
I-130 approved last night! E-mail came at 7:52 p.m. I'm US citizen who filed for my husband. PD 9/20/2023 initially in Nebraska SC but transferred to California SC and approval came from California SC 1/13/ 2025 there date shows (1/14/2025)! THANK GOD!🎉🙏 Prayers that everyone is approved faster! The wait is so hard!🥹🤞🙏 We had a lawyer for our process so I'm going to call him today. Does anyone have any idea about next steps? My husband had illegal entry as a minor from Mexico and they sent his case to Department of state/NVC according to the approval letter. Would he need to go to Juarez for re-entry? Would I need to be present for that? How long would we be there?

Got approved today! Thank you, Lord! 🤍 PD: December 18, 2023 Approval Date: January 08, 2025 Petitioner: US Citizen 🇺🇸(actively working in the US Army) Beneficiary: Philippines 🇵🇭 Service Center: Vermont -> approved at San Bernardino Field Office Due to military works of my husband, we asked some help to expedite our case to congress (California). We submitted in their office last December 20, 2024 and they did a case inquiry to USCIS last January 07, 2025. An immigration officer called my husband today and they made a decision to approve our case. Nothing is ipossible. Hoping that NVC will go smoothly this time. To those who are waiting, don't lose hope. You're next. 💌 Questions: 1. How many days will we receive the welcome letter from NVC upon approval from USCIS? 2. How many days will the NVC become documentary qualified (DQ)? 3. How many days will we wait to receive an innterview letter from NVC? Thank you.
