our case being moved from CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTER to TEXAS SERVICE CENTER
i just spoke to Emma and they said our case is now being processed at TEXAS SERVICE CENTER how accurate Emma is? what worries me the most is that our case was in CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTER and we didn’t get any updates about our case being moved to another service center is that possible? does that mean we are about to be approved
I’ll appreciate your help y’all, please if you’ve been in this situation please just leave a comment I would appreciate that thank you so much for your help

please let me know how you found out your application moved to somewhere else?

@p g I spoke to a live agent

@Andile Cress what I did was checked the Api code to see if it match with what live agent said and mine did. Because most times you’re not informed when case is moved. call back next week and get the date it was transferred.

it may be the work load needed to be transferred and they want to get you processed. plus I don’t know if the California Service Center has been affected by the fires?

do you have the email you register on USCIS website? they don’t inform you directly but they might send an email “we have taken an action on your case”. Onthe beginning of July, 2024, my CR1 receipt is with Texas SC, then after 2 days sending our case to USCIS, I received an email “We have taken an action on your case”, I logged in USCIS account, nothing changed. But 1 or 2 months later, I asked Emma, and she said my case was moved to Potomac. every 2 months I chat to Emma and ask her about my case, and my case is still at Potomac. but today, it happen again, i just receive an email like the email I received on July, last year. i log in USCIS account again, nothing changes. i decide to connect to Emma and she said my case is with in Texas SC!
So I think, when you receive that email which means your case is moved to another SC! hope it helps
