I-130 at different office for my family
Hi friends
As Green holder I applied for my wife and my sons in July 07,2020
Now that I become a us citizen, because each member of my family need his own I-130 so I filled out 3 others I-130 for my 3 sons
Question.
Why on the receipt notice, it saying that my sons cases went to Taxes office center or for my wife is at California center.
So please help me understand that.
Cause I am scared that Uscis doesn’t approve all my family on the same time.
interview scheduled for wrong field office? twice?
Hi all! I’m a Canadian, married an American. I’m adjusting my status I485 (I also applied for a work and travel permit but haven’t received them yet).
We FILED our case in June 2021 in California when we lived there. We moved to Utah and changed our address with USCIS. I had a biometrics appointment in Salt Lake City field office and we receive our USCIS mail here also.
USCIS scheduled my green card i485 interview for January 2022 at the San Diego California field office. When we called to verify that they had our updated address correct, the agent informed us that the interview should take place at our home field office for our updated (Salt Lake) address.
So they cancelled the interview and we received an email confirming that they received the request to reschedule the interview in the Salt Lake City field office and that the request had been approved.
Then we got a new interview, for April 2022 - and they scheduled us for San Diego california field office, AGAIN.
Has anyone else moved after submitting their application? Does anyone have any experience interviewing at a different field office than their home one? Did they ask about it? Turn you away? Etc?
Any information about your experiences would be appreciated. Thanks.

hI everyone, I filed form I-130 for my wife 2/26/21, our case has been actively reviewed since then, being processed by California center. I was checking the processing time and it seems like they up 6/21. any advices please, any one sharing same experience at California center. thank you

How long will it take?
We filed I-130 on March 22nd, 2021 and on May 18th, 2021 we received a notice that Case is actively being reviewed by USCIS. By that time my wife was a green card holder and it was sent to Nebraska Service Center.
My wife became a citizen on September 17th, 2021 and we than filed I-485, I-765 and I-131, that was sent to National Benefit Center on September 29th, 2021 and on December 1st,2021 I had my biometrics appointment.
After that we moved in the same town we Iive right now. So we changed our address and Status for I-130 from Green card to Citizen for my wife. They moved my I-130 to California Service Center after address change without notice.
Called USCIS today, and they said all my documents are now at National Benefit Center; again without notice. Not sure how long till I get an update?

cr-1 processing time
my case is at california service center and their processing time for i-130 was 6.5-8.5months. So i submit Outside of the normal processing time inqury. I wonder if anyone has submited the inqury and has gotten approved after.
I keep thinking and thinking and figuring out why mine take so ling but I still cannot understand why mine take so long compare to others. There was not single update that i’ve gotten for 2years, I keep seeing “case was recived and a recipet notice was sent”. I’ve contacted to USCIS and all they said was just wait. It’s so frustrating. USCIS sucks.
And plus, i found something really weird that all the i-130cases filed on Feb 12, 2020 are all the same status as me.
does anyone knows what is going on with my case and give me an advice

Submitted jointly on June 30, 2021. Did the biometrics on December 1, 2021. And received the status update notification email yesterday saying that My New Card Is Being Produced! I'm very (and pleasantly) surprised that they didn't ask for an interview. Such a relief. Can't wait to receive it in mail. Good luck to everyone. #i-751 #i751 #wac

22november 2021 : interview and visa granted the same day
9December 2021 : my husband landed in United States
December 28th 2021 : received his SSN
January 4th 2022 : received a letter from uscis asking us to pay for the green card fees
January 24th : submission of green card fees $220
March 12 : received 10 years green card
finally it has been a long journey full of depression, payers upon prayers and joy at end .
